*looks at Carmilla* ...no? Nothing?Okay. I'll ask him.
Link?
I'd like very much to see the link, considering the Falcon chips didn't ship until towards mid/late september. I'm not calling you a liar, but... I'm very interested how they could get an accurate representation that quickly.
dude the falcon chip wasnt the only thing solving the RROD, and how the hell am i supposed to have a link when its from like 5 months back?, it said something like "the hardware failure has dropped a dramatic 26.8%" idk i remember reading about it though, but even if those # arent the case the percent has dropped significantly
Well that's convenient.
First of all, 5 months isn't that long. Second, we're TALKING about the falcon chipset, so the added heatsink and thermal glue quick fixes are sort of moot as far as this argument goes. Third, a statement like that would be in an ARTICLE, and while the front page is constantly changing, articles are archived. Fourth, and most importantly, in SW if you can't back up a percentage with a link, then you shouldn't post the percentage.
I don't disagree, the percentage of RROD HAS dropped. Significantly I believe. And my old Zephyr 360 hasn't had any problems either. Despite that though, a reasonable certainty the percentage is DOWN, coupled with anecdotal evidence my console is UP, does NOT make a System Wars argument. I've had people tell me, I'm lying because I insisted my console had NOT died, marking me as part of some giant lemming conspiracy (despite my denial of BEING a lemming).
The best policy is Ifyou don't have a link, don't quote it. No one's going to believe it otherwise.
