Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and i haven't even beaten it yet. I've had more fun with the half of the game i've played than any other game this year.

I truly can't decide. SMG brings the innovation with the fun, but Orange Box brings the value with the greatness. It really could go either way but I'll give the slight nod to SMG to reward thinking outside of the box...(no pun intended)

Super mario galaxy, never looked into it much but it looked good. When I did get it I was blown away. SMG was the biggest breaths of freash of air I had in a while

Crysis should get the award for pushing the FPS gaming envelope. FPS games are my favorite and it is the only FPS this year IMO that REALLY deserves it.

Mass Effect I guess for the 360; Bioshock, Assassin's Creed, and Halo 3 weren't that great. Mass Effect didn't deserve any higher than the rating it got either, but Bioshock and Assassin's Creed both had many plot and gameplay issues (hammering X-button to kill guards FTW!), while Halo 3 was very run-of-the-mill if you ask me (a bit too easy as well).

For the Wii, I'd say Radiant Dawn. It's really very very good (and much more difficult than other games in the series).

Gears of War. Oh wait..... To tell you the truth, I've had the most fun with a game from last year. However, if it came down to a game from 2007, it's a toss up between Mass Effect and Halo 3, with ME getting the nod.
