ENOUGH With This WarHawk EGM Score thing!! It scored good.. GET OVER IT!!

OMG if I hear one more sheep or lemming say "bu but bu some guy over at the EGMz said that one point would be taken off for this and that" BULL CRAP, Stop being in denial. I dont care what guy said what, the bottom line is EGM Scored Warhawk 8.5,7.0 and 8.5. They announced Warhawk's price almost a month ago so trust me.. EGM KNEW EXACTLY what the price was going to be, So enough with this "But but egm didnt know the price was going to be over $30.00" the bottom line is its OFFICIAL. THe score for Warhawk at EGM is 8.5,7.0, 8.5. I dont want to hear this "but the guy said it would drop by one score" I mean seroiusly people, warhawk is going to be a solid game, why cant you just be happy for the cows and move on with your life for God sakes.

You can sit there and speculate all you want on what some guy over at EGM said but the bottom line is EGM gave warhawk an average score of 8.0 which On Gamespot a 8.0 equals a "Great" game according to Gamespot's rating system. So PS3 owners are getting a "Great" game this week, so stop with the denial and live with it. I dont care what anyone says.. The EGM Scores are official.. 8.5,7.0,8.5 You didnt see cows making excuses when Bioshock came with its awesome scores, so why should you

All the lemmings are saying "bu but teh warhawk score at EGMz is really 7.5,6.0,7.5 because some guy said this and that!" i dont care what lemmings say, the official EGM score is 8.5,8.5 and 7.0 they need to get over it. I don't get why price has become such an issue for Warhawk reviews: you can either get the $40 PSN version or the $60 bluray one that comes with a good headset. That's a pretty good deal. Yeah it's online only, but I paid $50 for BF2 back when it was released, and believe me, that game might as well be multi-only -- nobody buys BF2 for single-player, most people just hop online. And that game didn't get its score dropped because of a lack of value.

It's absolutely ridiculous to knock Warhawk down for its price, especially since both versions are relatively good value if you enjoy multiplayer competitive gaming.

I think they drop points cause the game was ONLINE only. And the developers announced a couple months ago (before the reviews) that they will drop single player development and concentrate on making the online-play the best it can be. Why they drop points for a game being ONLINE only is questionable. Hey, it did not stop counterstrike or starsiege tribes v1 from being greatgames eventhough both games are online only

in fact i was enjoying oblivion so much on my 360....until it was released on the ps3

which was when i ejected the oblivion disk out of my 360 and gave it to my 5 year old nephews to play frisbee with

i just can't play multiplats

That's why the downloadable price is so dumb, though. I don't think anyone has an issue with the $60, since that comes with a $40 Bluetooth headset. The problem is the downloadable version, which is probably what most people will get since the game is multiplayer-only anyway, is $40 and comes with no headset. So it's either you pay $40 for the MP-only game itself, or $60 for the game that includes a $40 headset.

That's a good deal for people who want the headset, since they're basically getting that headset for $40 (its retail price) and then Warhawk for an additional $20. But for people who don't want the headset, or who don't want to have to pay $60 for a multiplayer game? Major rip-off, since they have to buy Warhawk for $40 instead of $20.

And unlike Shadowrun, an MP-only game which was built from the ground-up, Warhawk's a direct remake of a Playstation 1 game. So it's basically, ultimately, a glorified XBLA game. $30 would have made far more sense for the downloadable version.

I never said anything. Lair, Heavenly Sword and Warhawk are somewhat decent games and cows should be allowed to hype and play them as much as they please.

You're right, Warhawk is not a remake of Warhawk. They just chose that name because they didn't know there was a PSX game already with it. It's all coincidence and magic.

I believe both have an offline skirmish mode, similar to Unreal Tournament.
