Wow, what a clever one. :roll: Especially considering that a) Warren Spector is the creator of games like System Shock, Deus Ex and Thief, and b) Mickey Mouse isn't Nickelodeon ;) so this is his first kiddy game :P
i read the story part, and it actually sounded really good, and quite sad... I mean, Jesus. **** Mickey, stupid little mouse. Now his brother is being eternally tormented and unloved. The gameplay also sounds very cool. Day one buy now.

To be fair, the premise alone is already a hell of a lot more original than anything in Dragon Age, although that's not saying much at all.
Anyway, the game sounds interesting and Warren Spector surely knows what he is doing, but I can see it being too basic, or otherwise just falling short of getting an AAA score.

Thanks for filling me in more with the story, now I am even more excited for it. Of course, this is one of those hit or miss games, it will either be completely awesome or it will be bad, really bad.

Dont hold your breath. Although I suppose there is a slight chance with Move out now.
I can't see this as the best game of the year, let alone best Wii game. It looks pretty good but I don't expect it to go higher then AAA. Wouldn't mind if it did however :D

I don't think so, Specter expressly shot down the possibility of this game appearing on any other platform, multiple times.

It could be. I am gonna go out on a limb and say something it won't be: bad. This is one game I am super excited about.

It looks to be a good one to be excited about. Good graphics and from what I've read in a Game Informer magazine it's game design is also turning out really well. I don't yet have a Wii, but once I finally get one this will be one of the titles I pick up.
The people who will get the most enjoyment out of this game will be the Disney nuts. This game is full of Disney history, and that is what gets me excited. I don't care what the reviews say, day one purchase for me.
I want Epic Mickey to do well, it's easily my most anticipated game coming out this year and it looks to me to be a great game and a breath of fresh air compared to what we've been playing all this year. I feel it has a shot at AAA, though with GS giving out 8.5's to Wii games like candy and generally overlooking games with mediocre gameplay but great everything else I won't hold my breath. Though if Epic Mickey can nail the gameplay among the other things that it already seems to do well I think it is guaranteed AAA here.
