[QUOTE="Velocitas8"][QUOTE="deangallop"]I don't either.
I like having to use skill and stratagy.
not just skill and dumb luck.

Oh please.
Come back when you've played UT's gametypes, kid.
The pace of the UT franchise has nothing to do with the amount of strategy involved, especially in the game's team-oriented gametypes. If anything that faster pace amplifies the amount of skill and strategy involved, since you have to carry out the same types of strategic thought processes, just at a MUCH faster rate. Of course that means it has a much steeper learning curve, which turns people such as yourself away.
From what I played it was
Shoot.
kill.
Die.
Respond
every 2 min (probably less)
No team speak.
no incentive to stay alive.
Just mind numming action.
Barely even a sense of competitiveness.
This is all IMO, you may be having a different experience.
erm any game on PC has teamspeak its a matter of knowing how to use it, UT has stretegy attached to it, speccialy on those new game modes i forgot their names, and its fast paced game play is what makes the game so much fun.
its respawn, and if you die each 2 minutes , i belive you never made to god like or made an ultra kill? thats part of what makes ut so fun tryng to stay alive and building up your streak, not to mention that a CTF match can be insanely fun
