Very interested in this game, just please don't hype the graphics or the art style....neither are good. Like the combat, like the story and the theme. Musical RPG, Namco Bandai are really stepping up the creativity..Adrian_Cloud

The combat isn't special
*run into sun* SUN SLASH! SUN SLASH! FIRE BLAST! FIRE BLAST! ROUNDEL! ROUNDEL! It's basically a button masher.
The graphics are nice alright, mighty fine cell shading.
It seems as if Namco reused alot of the tales of symphonia music....I recognize alot of it (especially at the end of a battle).
Way too linear, you can see exactly where you're going.
Story....something I don't know too much about.
Characters are your generic melee/cleric/"archer".
NO SUMMONS!!!! (just pisses me off, I love summons).

When has battle been special in any rpg? specially jrpgs.
The games visual artwork is beautiful I reckon, its very well done for cell shading. As for linaer...you've played JRPGs before right?
demo for eternal sonata was fun. im not sure if i will get the game once it comes out though. too many games coming out and so little time and money to spend on. :cry:istreakforfood
I'm thinking the same thing... bad time for a lengthy RPG to come out, in my opinion. I'll be playing way too many shooters. I may get Eternal Sonata after a few months or so :)
