Eurogamer- 9/10 Heavy Rain review.

"Quantic Dream's game has touched me, unquestionably, both as a player because it symbolizes today the culmination of a genre halfway between cinema and video game that has always seemed interesting in it's intentions but rarely conclusive."

This is from their French counterpart, I predict the same score for the UK, if not higher.

Eurogamer is somewhat a harsh reviewer.I am officially stunned when it comes to this game.

Looks like it's going to be great. Now if GS rated it AA SW would become very entertaining :D

I'll just look on youtube for the story though :P

This must be one heck of a game...

It's looking good so far, but one caveat to note is that Eurogamer rated WKC an 8, so I don't think anyone should draw any forgone conclusions.

Different reviewers will always have different tastes, and HR is one game that I'm sure will not be for everyone.

Wow, I was always going to get this game, but I cannot believe the positive scores it is receiving. They only strengthen my resolve :)

I dunno about past games,but recently they gave a lot of 6-8 to hyped games.

Once again, not a valid criticism, or well researched. Heavy Rain's retail game will be available in more than English, infact you'll be able to select from 10 different dialects. One of the advantages that comes with being on Blu-Ray.

Edit: And also, that's just being ridicuously selfish. Do you realize how much stamina must have been consumed hiring several foreign voice actors to accomodate the languages and then taking the time to record the game's extensive script ten times?

What are you referring to when you reference "Reviewer's standards"? Are you insinuating that majority reviewers will be listening to the game in English? Once again, that is displaying absurd ignorance as I myself will play through the game more than once in other languages than English.
