Eurogamer crushes Madworld

Alright, not really "crushes," but 7.0 is a lot lower than the hype.

Keep in mind they've scored a lot of games lower than the average.

I usually find that Eurogamer's reviews are more accurate than most. Looking back on it now that the sheen has worn off, their 8/10 score for MGS4 was bang on the money. 7/10 seems like a better score for a game that''ll only last the average player 6 hours. Silent-Hal

Eh, finally a reviewer bothers to point out that gore and swearing don't make a mature game.

Other than that, they say it has a compelling story (surprising!), and it brutally difficult at times, so yay to that. Also, it sounds quite similar to Viewtiful Joe (made by some of the same guys), so I'm sold.

Its a good score. The game looks fun enough for me to want a Wii...skrat_01

Same here.

I've enjoyed enough games with a similar score to know not to go by a number given by a certain reviewer.

Wow even with all that talent at Platinum games they still release a flop as their first game. Read the review instead of asking what their problem was with it, the game doesn't sound all that and has bad gameplay design in places, a bad camera, and at 6 hours long it looks like I might pass on this.

Did not expect this game to flop at all

Same score they gave Resident Evil 5.

Well I guess it is compelling, but it isn't anything new. I mean Saw II had the whole kill everyone to get the antidote for a poison, and even Manhunt had the whole earning your freedom by killing other people. And those weren't even the first to do that story, but the only ones I can think of recently.

Well I guess it is compelling, but it isn't anything new. Do you actually know what the story is then because as far as I can tell it's been pretty well kept under wraps and even this review does not divulge what it is! The review's main detractions where the camera angle, lack of a dodge button and late on difficulty settings. Seems like everything else works pretty well though.

It doesn't really matter if you like the look of it get it.

I sooooooooo want another Viewtiful Joe game, the first two were so amazing. And just in case anyone hasn't figured out yet, Eurogamer uses the full 10 scale so a 5/10 is average so a 7/10 is above average.

Eurogamer crushes everything. Except for Noby Noby Boy apparently.

Eurogamer also thought RE4 Wii Edition controlled like ass. I'll take their opinion with a mountain of salt.
