Didn't help Shadowrun and that actually had a pseudo single player bot component. shadow run was a worse game. No it really wasn't a bad game. It got poor reviews due to its lack of content. The game itself was fantastic.

Why not. I've played PC games all my life and the best pc multiplayer games were the ones that didn't have single player experiences. UT series, Quake seires, Battlefield 2, etc.nhh18
I'm pretty sure all three of those had singleplayer in one way or another. :P
MAG is for people who enjoy online games like Battlefield or Tribes etc. which is not for me if i would review that game well i would receive a lower score. I might give it a try

You really can't use other scores to try and predict GS scores, they can vary like crazy and some sites are just MUCH too different. Game Informer gave Halo Wars a 9 while GS gave it a 6.5, on the other side of that spectrum GS gave Halo: ODST a 9 while Gaming Nexus gave it a 42, with a metacritic average of 83, only about 5 points away from MAG, the supposed failure. And while one might say ODST is an expansion and thus had to get leeway, MAG is an online only game, not single player no nothing for people who rate higher for gamesthat have it.
That said the GS score could be anything now, especially when ODST and Resistance 2 get a 9 and Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction doesn't even break AA. I personally predict around an 8.0-8.5.
