Even though GTA3 beat out Deus Ex, it's nice to see a website actually recognizing the game's greatness. Can't complain about opinions.

Pretty sure Planescape came out in December of 99 which would squeak it in under the limit.

Gamespot lost all credibility after the jeff gerstmann debacle

Gametrailers lost all credibility after a 360/PS3 comparison video where they showed PS3 footage of a game instead of te 360 footage claiming that the 360 version looked better

IGN lost all credibility after stating that the 360's better then the N64, PS1 and PS3

Now eurogamer looses all credibility because of their top 10 videogames ever ok....do we have ANY websites left?

Yeah I like Oblivion more than FO3 so I'd go with that. But other than those 3 the rest are completely different. I would have a GTA game in there somewhere but stuff like trials? smh.

Wow... is that a joke list? Even Eurogamer would realize you'd have to pick 10 games every year for the past 10 years to be even close to fair. Or at least, I would think they would.

Wow I only agree with maybe three of those games.

I'm a big fan of eurogamer but I'm a bit off with this list.

But it's their opinion.

Modern Warfare being on that list breaks my heart.

The only ones even close to being right are Quake 3 Arena and Deus Ex.and those need to be push up in the list.

Everything else is fail.

Edit: And Half Life 2

Deus Ex should have been #1.

Also, what's with number 10?

Although I like (and in some cases love) mostly all of those games, that was still a terrible list.

hmm i was expecting eurogamer to include company of heroes in their list..since they loved it

Company of Heroes: something special.

At first glance it's a standard RTS... actually, scratch that. "At first glance" Company of Heroes is immediately special. It's more that on paper Company of Heroes sounds like a standard RTS. A string of single-player missions. Skirmish mode against the computer (with co-op partners too). Online multiplayer. Opposing sides with differentiated forces. The usual. In fact, since Company of Heroes only has two separate sides instead of the genre-standard three, on paper it could be taken even as inferior.

"Inferior". That's the last time you'll see that word here.

Company of Heroes is inferior to nobody.

3 is the only one that should even be on that list and it should be up to 1.

Never really cared for Eurogamer to begin with, so i'm not suprised i don't agree with there list.

Wait, didn't Eurogamer have good taste at one point? :?

At least they had Deus Ex, HL2 and Quake 3, but the decade wasn't *that* boring, was it?

Seriously though, Halo has to be on the list (maybe not Halo 3, Halo: CE was the most original and innovative in the series). It's just a notch below World of Warcraft in terms of its impact.

Did the people there just start playing games this gen?
