Eurogamer, are probably my favorite site, mainly because I'm European too, I know they're critical, but they aren't unfairly critical.

Eurogamer need to stop hanging on to bill gates wallet. All good we all know this is a full of crap score. Game is still going to go down as one the greatest in history. And these guys did this for 2 reasons, for hits on there sh!tty site and they got paid. How does MGS4 get all these high ratings then this sorry game site downplays it. Screw these dudes.clintos59

Anyway, good score, although lower than i was expecting. No matter though, still seems to be a great game :)

It's simply idiotic to say that any review site is in anyone's "pocket", but that doesn't mean they aren't biased. Despite everything else, they are still opinions.

I forgot that Cows must say that every non-PS3 game is bad. But that doesn't change how good some Wii/360 gems are.

In typical blind hate, give a game you love a high score and the site/mag is dead on. Score the game lower than what you want to see, and suddenly they are paid off and biased.

And how exactly did you decide too discuss uncharted which is an adventure game, not a shooter like halo and cod4, which imo cod4 clearly is the winner in that category.

Its important that we remember Reviewers are also gamers and have their personal tastes / preferences.. THough they shouldnt be Biased, its still human to have preferences... so a reviewer might like the MGS series and close an eye on certain problems the game has, while for another reviewer MGSIV is just another game to play and points out even the most nonsense of excuses to lower its score because he/she is annoyed by those...

Its not being biased, its being human... Unless reviewers are programed un-biased cyborgs we gamers will always have doubts on scores given by reviewers..

Back to Eurogamer, they are quite hard to please so an 8/10 probably is the best score they could give to MGSIV, and read the review they didnt bash the game, apparently they liked it... imagine if they didnt like the game :)

Sorry, but the campaign story for Halo 3 (and 2 for that matter) is mediocre at best. All we're saying is it has flaws, not that it's a bad game. I'm actually a huge Halo fan, just not so much of Halo 3.

Agreed, the story was mediocre, but the overall experience of the campaigh was really, really fun.
