@Zero_epyon: LOL don't bother. He makes bull shit statements and then pretends the other person did. No integrity.

Lems do this all the time, it's fun trying to watch them wriggle about trying to explain away their ridiculous statements. Makes for a fun system wars and easy ownage. You know when you've won when they get all pissy and desperately grasp at the "LOL NO GAMES".

Lying is childish, take some reading comprehension classes.

First. I cut off you post because it wasn't relevant... You are just pointing out facts, and I don't have a clue why. I already said Microsoft cut price to try to catch up last year, so why are you repeating me... Nowhere did I say you implied "#4thegamers", that's just a response that a lot of cows give, which I find laughable. So instead of reading too much into things, just try to read.

So you are telling me that Sony could've made more money if the PS4 was at $400, but were like: "Nah, let's just cut it by $50 because wtf not...". Oh yeah investors love that mentality. Sony has chosen $350 because it would mean more profit. Why? Read my second paragraph of the previous post. Dropping to $350 means that they can get a bigger piece of the pie. Why need a bigger piece, when they already have such a large piece? Because they fear that Microsoft might get such a large piece, that it will be easier for them (in the future) to eat away on the profits of Sony. Sony doesn't want that, and that's why they are scared, because they need that PS money to keep afloat.

Remember this? How was pointing out why Sony isn't scared irrelevant? The rest of your post is nonsense.

First of all, that wasn't saying Sony isn't scared, that was saying Microsoft was scared. You actually start by saying: "Yes MS was scared." Like I said, irrelevant, since I already said that.

Secondly, lol, sure nonsense. Just try go out with a little dignity next time, this is making you look like a child.

Really? Do you always just read the first few words and then jump to conclusions. Yes MS was scared and they showed it by dropping the price and having fire sales just short of a year before release. Then they kept the price down just to not be massacred throughout the year. Like my post then goes on to point out this is why Sony is not scared. Their competitors are struggling even at a cheaper price point and have admitted defeat. Had you actually comprehended what I wrote, which surprisingly you accuse others of not doing, you would have understood it.

And I made a clear case why they are scared, because there is no reason to drop the price if they can make more money staying at the $400 price.

And that's where you post stopped making sense. They have a strategy that they use every generation. Once the console is cheaper to produce, they drop the price to stay competitive. They announced that their console is cheaper to manufacture. Shortly after, they announce a price drop. Anyone with common sense can see this was planned carefully, not a knee jerk reaction to an unexpected event.

That's another way of saying "scared of losing marketshare". I described "dropping the price to stay competitive" in detail above. What do you think I meant when I said that Sony doesn't want Microsoft to get too much of the pie. The pie clearly was the profits, which is related to the marketshare

hahahahaha. Thanks for the laugh. We are talking about Europe in this thread. The Xbone is dead in basically all European countries aside from the UK and nothin is going to change that at this point.

You are still reaching. This drop was planned well in advance and is happening regardless of Microsoft or Nintendo's position in the market. This plan of staying competitive while still making money on the console is music to investor's and shareholder's ears. If anything they're sinking their teeth even more to get the most out of the market, not trying to patch up a wound. You're trying to say the two are one and the same and they're not.

Clearly we have two different opinions then, because I truly believe that you are wrong, and I'm right. Same probably goes for you, that's life sometimes.
