Don't even ask me why -- I enjoy chatting with some friends, and I find it strangely relaxing while I'm surfing the web, while I'm on AIM, etc. 8)

I've passed 160 days last time I checked. Sometimes I return to check out new stuff. Don't get why it got so much hate from people, there was lots to enjoy.[QUOTE="LustForSoul"][QUOTE="CaptainAhab13"]

I don't know if I would go THAT far. Some of my favorite game experiences of all time have come from games like Beyond Good and Evil, or Mark of Kri. Those two games last gen just clicked for me and gave me everything I look for in a game, and did it extremely well. Yet both those games maybe averaged 8s and both sold so poorly they struggled to see a sequal. I'm still crossing my fingers for a BG&E sequal.
I also have always loved rythm games. Before Guitar Hero really exploded, people thought I was an idiot for playing games like frequency or amplitude or even Parapa the Rapper. Of course GH came out and suddenly everyone was a proclaiming their love of rythm games as if that is the way it has always been.
Those are the two cases I can remember the most.
Yep, dare I say I loved Metroid Other M to death.NoirLamiaI loved it, and I hated it. There were things about the game I thought were spectacular (the combat, the integration of the first person, the narrative up until the end, the boss fights) and things I thought were abysmal (Samus' part in the opening cutscene, the world design, the art design and the overall "Metroid-ness"). It is a game that people should play, but not expect a Metroid Prime of. It definitely could have used some work to smooth out it's rough edges. Sakamoto should have had no creative control. And Retro should have been brought in to consult on intricacy and creativity in world design. It had the potential to be the next Super Metroid, but fell a few points short (if Super is a 10, it was a 5... but it could have been a 10).
Super Puzzle Street Fighter II Turbo. Well my mates thought I was a weirdo when I got this off XBLM. Brlliant game 8)
Guilty about this one..but I played Endless Online for a while, not long though :|
When it comes to video games, I do believe I'm the pickiest person in the world. For that reason I usually hate most of the games I play. I find myself only really liking the tent pole releases from top publishers. So, no, I have never wound up loving a game everyone else hated. In most cases it is the exact opposite. I hate games most people love. Here are just a few games I despise completely: GTA IV; FarCry 2; Prototype; Mass Effect 2; Dragon Age Origins; Forza 3.
