Have you? If so, why? If not, why not? Have you had buyer's remorse along the lines of the console in which you've purchased was so exciting at first, but the excitement wore off and the console you've had before "persuades" you to play it instead? (secretly or known)

Shadow Fall and GTA5 Remastered.

Shadow Fall was just a piece of shit game. It was not a Killzone game at all, it was some shitty spin-off that had nothing to do with Killzone. $20 wasted

GTA5 Remastered was a game I just didnt need. I hate the multiplayer on that game and I didnt feel like redoing the story mode again when I had just did it on PS3 7 m0nths before. I didnt think the game was that great on PS3 anyways.

Oh wait hold on... I guess GTA5 doesnt count cuz I just remembered it came in bundled with the PS4, I didnt actually buy it.

My Xbox one gets more GENERAL use than my PS4 ... infact.... the PS4 gets used when an exclusive comes out only... no other reason to use it... superior multiplats? sorry ... I'm a PC Fanboy ... why the hell would I choose it?

Nothing to add other the fact that I use my Xbox One and Wii U for gaming needs and my Xbox One for entertainments and gaming with friends. My PS4 is good for one thing, playing exclusive games and nothing more. PS4 isn't worth other then to play exclusive.

No, because all I've bought is on-sale Steam games and a Wii U and in both cases, I don't have any time to get remorseful about them, since I never get to play them.

When I bought my 360 way way back in 2008 (goddamn that was, what, almost 8 years ago already? **** me...) I was able to swap out one of the bundled games with another of my choice.

The bundle was Gears of War and Dead or Alive: Xtreme Volleyball.

I dropped Gears of War in favour of Mass Effect. No regrets there.

The Wiiu has turned out to be a big disappointment. Even this years games; through June a TOTAL of 6 games had been released to play for the system. Not enough content, lack of 3rd party, lagging Online and weak hardware all contribute.

Will not be buying NX off that, but I may have to just so my opinions on the system count.

Day one cost, they drop Kinect, price goes down like it's produce going out of date effecting resale value, less games as they mostly go to the PC. Then mine broke and MS wanted £100 to fix it, how much am I supposed to throw at this fucking thing. They're not getting a penny more from me.

The sad thing is, it's in their interest to repair machines at reduced cost, because they would have had a whole gen to milk my wallet. Which is what this gen has turned into, DLC city.

No one has punished their fans like MS this gen.

I'm just grateful I discovered the PC for myself.

Ohh that's a good one. Definitely disappointing. Among other things, the combat is just tedious in it.

I have no remorse for the two consoles I bought this gen (PS4 and Wii U). I do regret getting Mario Kart 8 though. I heard it took steps to alleviate the item balance problems. Turns out it did in addition to taking steps backwards. The mechanics are good and the tracks are great, but the item problem really wrecks the experience still (you're more defenseless in 1st than ever before).

Nah. Persona 3 Portable is a piece of shit that ruins everything that was good about Persona 3, and the PSTV I have used for a grand total of 40 minutes since I got it, like, a year ago.

That's not even an exaggeration, that is literally the extent of my usage of it. About the only thing it has been good for all this while has been a safe place for me to store my extra Vita Memory Card so it won't get lost.

@charizard1605: P3P was simplified but it did had some nice changes and additions. And 40 minutes usage total for the Vita? Ouch. P4G on the big screen is refreshing once in a while. It'll certainly be used when you are jamming out with P4:DAN, right?

PSTV, not Vita- I love and adore my Vita. The PSTV is just shite, though.

The Vita will be used a lot, for P4:DAN, for DanganRonpa 3, for ZE3. The PSTV? Eh.

As for P3P, well, most of my admiration for P3 comes from its excellent story and soundtrack, and P3P butchers both, because it ruins the storytelling, and because it removes entire tracks from the game. I gave it a fair shot man, I really did, but I couldn't bring myself to stand it.

I regretted buying a Gamecube adapter for my Wii U and then falling in love with the Gamecube fightpad that plugs into your WiiMote. I had forgot what it was like to be wired to a console, not to cool.

Yes. My Vita, but not for the reasons you think. It is a fantastic device with a fair amount of games, and a few upcoming ones I still want. When I bought one I still hadn't bothered to get a smart phone. Some of the functions in it I really liked and ultimately led to me not being a cheapass anymore and grabbing a smartphone. I get one and I can suddenly play all these games on it, including emulators. So now i have to ask myself why do I have a Vita/3DS when I can play things off the Play Store or just emulate an SRPG?

In terms of games, I have had buyers remorse on the Witcher 3 and GTA 5. Are the games bad? No, they are both stunning accomplishments on the PC and achieve what they set out to do. But they taught me I'm completely done with open world games. Can't stand them I guess and won't be wasting my money anymore. Shame because I really like the look of Xenoblade X.

Of all the video game-related purchases this generation, I have no buyer's remorse. I am quite satisfied with what I purchased.

Only once, I bought Tropico 5 for the PS4. It just wasn't the game I was expecting, and I'm a huge strategy buff. The humor got old really quick.
