Nope. I have had fun with X1, PS4 and PC that I purchased in 2014. I didn't buy them to sit and judge them by 2015. I knew full well that I wanted them for the long term and have faith I will enjoy gaming on them.

Yes.
The Wiiu has turned out to be a big disappointment. Even this years games; through June a TOTAL of 6 games had been released to play for the system. Not enough content, lack of 3rd party, lagging Online and weak hardware all contribute.
Will not be buying NX off that, but I may have to just so my opinions on the system count.
Heil you're a smart guy. Your opinion, my opinion do not "count" to anyone but ourselves. You buying a console doesn't make your opinion count dude.
Bought red Gatorade yesterday when i should've gotten the blue.
Actually bought some Taco Bell a couple of weeks back. No time is a good time for Taco Bell, but I ate that mess before sleeping.
Also should have waited to buy the PS4. And to an extent the Wii U as well.
I have had everything but ps4 this gen and I have no buyers remorse but I do have sellers remorse. I am actually okay with not having 3ds anymore, but I really miss my vita, wiiu and xboxone.
If we're talking about games though Watch Dogs comes to mind right away.
Shadow of Mordor.
If you see any popular game with Warner Bros as the publisher just wait for the GOTY version. not only was the game disappointing and you see everything it has to offer 5 hours in, but it also has one of the worst final boss battle of all time and it's incredibly easy to go through once you're overpowered. the game automatically aims for enemies too. press attack and your character is like a magnet that will attack anything close by. worst monolith game by far. can't believe i thought it was a good game and even got the plat. it's like a spell was put on me to blind me from the truth.
The new Batman. I loved Rocksteady's other Arkham games, but Arkham Knight just isn't grabbing me.
Ohh that's a good one. Definitely disappointing. Among other things, the combat is just tedious in it.
I've been playing on Hard difficulty, and the combat is just easier than previous games in the series, you can button-mash compared to Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. It could just be that I'm getting fatigued from that type of melee combat though, AC, Sleeping Dogs, Batman, etc. It all starts to feel 'samey' after a while.
The only enjoyable things in that game is the novelty of the different Batsuits and Batmobiles. To digress a bit, I'd love it if they put the Batmobile from Batman Forever in it. I just loved that one.
But everything that was enjoyable from the last games are gone. I miss the atmosphere that Asylum, City and Origins had, they were oozing with it. This has none. You could replace Batman with anyone else, it wouldn't make much of a difference in Arkham Knight.
Not really with whole consoles but definitely with games. Preordering destiny, purchasing the crew, advanced warfare and assassins creed unity were all cause for me to indulge in a bit of the old self-deprecation.
This sounds like a topic for confused fanboys. The only thing I have had buyer's remorse for is a couple of digital games that ran me about $10 apiece.
Buyers remorse is part and parcel of being a gamer. Sonic Spinball was a great example for me. Frustrating piece of crap I wasted by birthday on instead of, say, Phantasy Star IV.
This gen, I don't regret the console decision I made or anything drastic like that but the odd game was a bust so far. Watch Dogs for example. Really tried to get into that, but pretty much knew from the first play through that I wouldn't.
Topic.
Have you? If so, why? If not, why not? Have you had buyer's remorse along the lines of the console in which you've purchased was so exciting at first, but the excitement wore off and the console you've had before "persuades" you to play it instead? (secretly or known)
most people that bought a ps4
And you get to speak for all PS4 owners because...?
Anyways no, I don't think I've yet suffered buyers remorse this gen.
The Wii-U. After playing the 4 or 5 good games on it, and seeing Nintendo pretty much abandoning it. It's future is quite bleak.
Of all the video game-related purchases this generation, I have no buyer's remorse. I am quite satisfied with what I purchased.
This. I do extensive research before buying a game for more than $30. Only AAA games like MGS5, Uncharted 4 will ever get $60 from me.
I wish I had waited to buy a Wii U. That system was in horrible shape when it launched. Big games didn't start coming until summer of the following year. One of the games I bought the system for was Pikmin and I didn't get to play it till August. It was a waste to buy the system so early.
Well, I managed to avoid buying an Xbox One. Looking what's been released so far on it, I think I can live without Screamride and a collection of old games that you could probably get for free on PC if you really wanted to.
Bought a PS4 this year with no regrets at all. Great games being released every week. I've really enjoyed Bloodborne, MKX, Helldivers, The Witcher 3, Batman: AK, Axiom Verge, Rocket League, and soon MGSV (GOTY). Outside of a few games it's not really worth it if you have a PC though, 2016 looks to be the year where PC/PS4 players will be very happy.
Btw great post OP.
KZ SF, Halo MCC, Watch Dogs, Destiny, MLB The Show 14. and BF: Hardline.
All major letdowns in their own ways.
Definitely on PS4 and most of the games I have for it. Money would be much better spent on pc components or even towards a premade one.
I have all 3 8th Generation consoles out of the 3. I bought Wii U and the PS4 on the day those consoles launched. While for the Xbox one I only bought it after MS dropped the Kinect. I bought the Xbox one No Kinect launch bundle for $399.99 I have 20 games for PS4 and 7 games for XB1 and 18 games for Wii U
I also have the 8th gen handheld consoles 3DS with 10 games and PSvita with 39 games. Overall this gen I have been happy with what I bought But if I had not bought the Wii U at launch I might not have bought it at all.
But I am most disappointed in the PSvita which is a great system but Sony didn't support it very well. I really like the PSvita but only 12.1 million sales since December 17th 2011. The PSvita should have arrived 2 years earlier.
The only buyers regret I have is in the game Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth. That is the worst game I have bought this generation.
Nope when it comes to buying a console this gen. There is a VERY specific game I had buyer's remorse but I'm not going down that rant hole. But I know you have had it TC seeing as for nearly 4 weeks straight you couldn't help remind us every hour on the hour.
Forgot to say WoW: WoD.
Most expensive expansion, little content, garrisons suck and are no different than doing chores, PVP is a complete mess. No wonder everyone's quitting.

Thanks. :)
I agree. The PS4 is amazing. I'm embarrassed that Microsoft suckered me into buying an inferior console; and it shows. Once you boot up the PS4, the XboxOne just doesn't compare at all.
