Every console should be like the PS3

For the sake of argument, let's say you come across a PS3 at a flea market. When you get home, you find that the salesperson only gave you a console and a controller; that is, he gave you no cables with which to hook anything up. You can still make that PS3 work. Just plug any old power cord into it and plug it in. Got an hdmi cable? ANY hdmi cable? Plug that **** in. Don't have an HD tv? Use the AV cables from your PS2 (and I'm pretty sure PS1 cables work as well). Plug your controller in with any USB cable you have lying around. If you want to use your PS3 controller on your PC, you don't need to buy a proprietary cable like certain other companies force you to do; just use that same USB cable. Is the hard drive it comes with not big enough? You don't need to buy grossly overpriced proprietary hard drives like some other companies force you to do; just open your **** up and slap any hard drive in there. you want a terrabyte hard drive in your PS3? all power to ya. there are no proprietary memory cards with the PS3, just use a flash drive or SD card. All of this serves to make the PS3 seem like something someone would buy at Radio Shack rather than Toys R Us.

The PS3 is like the CDi: expensive, very few games, but ahead of its time in terms of hardware.

PS3 is the true successor to the original Xbox. Big, bulky, expensive, losing money for the company, way less games than the competitor etc.Parasomniac

360 has a lot more quality exclusives than that. And Sigma isn't exclusive, it's the same game as NGB on xbox, cept with 1 new level

PS3 has yet to produce blockbuster hit on such scale as Halo 2 was to original Xbox.Salt_The_Fries

They're trying to with Resistance and Killzone but America will never accept the PS3. They'll never make a massive hit like that.

PS: Ninja Gaiden Sigma is exclusive, improved graphics, more levels, more content, different console.

I'll laugh the day people start lining up in the cold for a LBP game. That's not a big hit like Halo. MGS4 is also only a third as popular as Halo.
