then you should check how many laptop, netbook, and brand pc with bad video cardor onboard chipssell since nov, 2005? i am sure they are way more than your gaming pc.
oajlu
Considering that PC's have a much wider range of uses it would stand to reason. Stricty limited to "gaming" however, and that supposed "average" seems to dissipate quite quickly.
gaming = play games.
do you know intel owns more GPU marketshare than nvidia?
they sell more onboard GPU chips than video card, and do you think onboard GPU can beat 360/ps3 now? lol
Again, you are oversimplifying to support your point. The number I quoted was systems that could play at the same or above and beyond that of the consoles. You are including all PC's in the world when many are strictly not designed for gaming (such as using higher end GPU's for rendering etc), and are designed for a multitude of reasons whereas consoles are not.
I never stated onboard could beat out PS3/360, so what does that have to do with anything? Seems like you are looking for something that isn't in my response.

Thats like saying a Ferrari (or something like that) is not a car.
Can you drive a Ferrari on all roads? Yes Can you play most games on a MAC? No.In fact you can. The thing is, just like in every PC, which a MAC is, depends on the model you have. After that, there are few thing a little emulation or Windows won't do.
you can say that, cuz ppl can still play facebook games on their netbook.
so yeah averagely, gurrent gen console produce better graphics than pc.
oajlu
"averagely"? please explain. There are more gaming capable (8800 and up) gpu's sold yearly then either HD console. While there may be a large number, more than half the total users, of Personal Computers that can not out perform current gen consoles, there are more PC's capable of out performing consoles then there are consoles.

Yea that's emulation kind sir. I can run a mods on the 360, will that make my 360 a SNES or Genesis? NO. If you went out right now, bought a MAC, took it home, and tried installing 99% of the games, it wouldn't work. If you turned your MAC into a PC by emulating Windows on it, then sure, but then it ceases to be a Mac.lets say 5 years ago someone built a gaming pc, but by now the hardware is outdated... so its not a gaming pc anymore? lolHmm. I'd say a gaming PC is one capable of playing current gen games.
