Even if this were true, (which it isn't)
N64 was only a failure relative to the SNES.
N64 still sold 35-40 million consoles worldwide.
If Wii achieved that this generation, they would make huge profits, and couldn't be called anything less than a major success.
It is true. Sony sold 100 million ps and ps2's.
40 million is a huge failure when its 20 million less then the SNES and 60 million less then a brand new competitor.
Losing market share...is not success. Just ask the gamecube.
