everyone forgets the PS3 has a guaranteed AAA in Oct.

I don't know what version of GameRankings you're looking at, but Oblivion 360 has 93 (93.9) on GameRankings and the PS3 version also has a 93 (93.1.)

It's well worth it though, the game is awesome.

It is a little overrated.

I could only go through one playthrough completely entertained, and the health and life system rob the game of a lot of fun when you realize all those awesome strategies aren't a necessity, you could just beat a Big Daddy slowly to death with a wrench while you rez without penalty over and over again.

Do yourself a favor and play the game with the Vita Chambers turned OFF.

It will be in the options in the Main Menu.

Well.....the game is 1 year old. This can be the first case of a game that gets different scores 360 - AAA PS3 - AA :PPAL360

360 - A

If it's the same package then the year will certainly dock it at least 0.5 in score. Bioshock only scored a 9.0.Spartan070

Install+ rarely any extra content + 1 year wait= very slight shot at getting AAA

If it means some people don't have to invest in defective hardware to play the game (assuming they wanted to), then yes.

That was 3 years later, and it launched well into the "Next generation" (360.)

That would be like if BioShock released on the PS3 in October 2010 and the PS4 was already released and many games were already available for it.

Even if it's identical to the 360 version (not including the survival mode stuff and other stuff, I'm speaking graphically and performance wise) I'd bet you my account it will still score a 9.0. The only way it's scoring below 9.0 is if it's worse, performance wise, than the 360 version - and all indications point to that not happening.
