Please tell me you aren't taking things personal between two unions that share a good deal of the same members on both sides?

You just substituted one word for another that has the same meaning. If one can have a preferred system without bashing the the others, that's "partial". But if one can't control themselves from making irrational attacks against the competiton (those games suck for no more reason than being on that platform, sure it's AAA but it's overrated, that console is a mega flop, it's going to be dead by end of the year, etc...) that is what makes it bias.

I agree with TC, everyone is biased. Why because Science has shown us that we are. Now there is a big difference between pref and bias like adobe has pointed out. But for anyone to say they are without bias is lying to themselves and trying to rationalize their claims that they do not.

Sorry people, but the social science studies prove otherwise and I implore you to go check em out. Whether we have them consciously or unconsciously they are still there. We certainly have the power to recognize our bias and reduce it to think objectively. And having a favorite is completeing fine. Everyone has a favorite something or another.

But to claim that you have zero bias is absolutely absurd. And thats all I got to say about that.

maybe it's just me at this point, but this thread is like... seriously, guys. Tsug is now clearly entrenched in his belief that the scope of his weakness is shared by everyone, even though it is not. Telling him he's wrong doesn't help him, because he doesn't understand that it's the very core understanding of the basic principle that's flawed...and he's built a mansion on that flawed real estate.
