Exclusives that Sony has lost.

This is as far as I got because I'm only 3 in and obviously the TC doesn't understand the definition of the word Lost or Exclusive as Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts are made by SE. Final Fantasy was on Nintendo long before it came to Sony not to mention the lead platform for Bayonetta was the 360. Platinum Games outsourced to put it on the PS3 and it was shit so how did they lose it?

Sony didn't loose Bayonetta, Bayonetta premiered as a multiplatform title, plus Platinum's first two games were on the Wii and DS.

Final Fantasy has always been on a variety of systems and started on the NES, even the PlayStation's first FF game FFVII ended up on Windows, as did FFVIII.

The first MGS was on the GameCube, and the second game was also on the original Xbox, not to mention the series started on the NES.

Devil May Cry went to the PC before it went to the Xbox.

Silent Hill 2 went to the PC, and Silent Hill 4 went to the original Xbox, it was really only exclusive for the first game.

GTA was a PC game.

Tomb Raider released on the PC and Sega Saturn.

The first two Fatal Frame released as multiplats.

SMT started on a Nintendo console

Assassin's Creed was an exclusive?!?!

Dark Souls wasn't an exclusive (Demon's Souls was)

Kingdom Hearts was not exclusive. It is on Nintendo handhelds too.

The same with GTA, Tomb Raider, Dark Souls, Assassins Creed and Shin Megami Tensei.

I'm gonna assume he forgot the Solid after Metal Gear, otherwise that too.

@clyde46: Most of these games were lost a long time ago. Resident Evil, Tomb Raider, and Final Fantasy were never reall exclusive to begin with. Assassin's Creed was on 360. GTA originated on PC.

They were never sony exclusives. They were just games that came out in a time when no other systems that could run them. And the few that could were so terrible that sales would have gone in the dumper so the developers decided not to release on them.

Every single one of those games were made by outside developers not owned by sony and published by other publishers besides sony. So no, sony never had those games and did not lose them. Youre so desperate to dump on sony you ignore even basic common knowledge facts, its quite pathetic.

For gods sake assasins creed was never a sony exclusive, it was on the 360 as well as ps3. Final fantasy was on Nintendo systems a decade before the PS1 even came out, and when they were doing numbered sequels Gameboy was still getting titles. GTA was on the PC as well as tomb raider.

Did you actually even put a single thought into this at all before you posted? Because it sounds like you don't have 2 brain cells to rub together.

Anything else? I don't think it had many exclusives in the first place, then again that's what happens when you're only relevant for a few years because of a year headstart.

Alot of those games were never exclusive or didn't even begin on a Sony platform in the first place.

And secondly, exclusives are a pain in the ass for everyone except the person who the owns the platform. Most people are losers when a game is exclusive to anything. More multi-platform development means more people having access to games, means more game sales, means Sony ultimately wins. And so does everyone else. When multiple fast-food franchises open up next to each other, it almost always increases the business of both, true story.

And with the emphasis of new consoles being highly hospitable towards 3rd parties and multi-platform development, exclusivity is on the way out and ultimately hinders the growth of developers and their games.

And some of those Franchises originated on Another Platform or were Multiplatforms to start with then became exclusive to Sony then Sony lost'em, what goes around comes back Around. :D

Bayonetta was never an exclusive and neither was SMT although Persona 5 is still a PS3 exclusive. Tomb Raider was a PC game.

Neither was Tomb Raider (it was on PC and Saturn, and there was even entirely different Game Boy versions).

A lot of those games were exclusive for the sole reason that PSX and PS2 blew out the competition and there was no monetary reason to port them. That changed post-2006 for obvious reasons.

The correct title would be "Exclusives that lost Sony.". All of these IPs took a drastic turn for the worst when they abandoned their true home. It's as if god cast them out of heaven.

Not counting the handful of western IPs on that list, they were doomed to suck from the start being western made and all.
