Explain why are youhyping Scribblenauts

Seriously...

People in this board hype that game as the next best thing and yet, I don't think it's that interesting. Sure, it's different and it has so many approaches to do what you're asked to do... but in the end it all comes down to write stuff down.

The lack of violence is irrelevant to me, but all I see is videos of really simple stuff that IMO can get old really fast.

I'm pretty sure you guys have opinions very different of mine, but that why I'm asking you why are you hyping this game so much.

It has 200+ levels, a level editor that can be shared online, and one of the most creative games ever made because it forces you to use you're imagination to solve levels.

It's one of the few games that actually challenges your imagination.

It can solve the eternal debate of pirate vs. ninja.

You can make it as violent as you want. I want it because you have tens of thousands of objects at your disposal. It's all about imagination.OreoMilkshake

It's not that violent... I watched a video with a snowman and a flamethrower and the snowman just dropped down.

However, violenceor no violence, makes no difference to me really.

I saw a small little booth for "Scribblenauts!" in the Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment section. I mean, who goes to that booth? But I remember hearing about it on GAF, and so I decided to check it out.

Best game of E3? Without a ****ing doubt. Anyone who says otherwise did not play Scribblenauts. Best game of all time? Jesus Christ, I don't know, maybe. It's a game that challenges your IMAGINATION. No other game has ever done that.

So listen to this story. I was in the early levels; I didn't quite have an idea of how ridiculously in-depth the database was. I was summoning things like ladders, glasses of water, rayguns, what have you. But I reached a level with zombie robots, and the zombie robots kept killing me. Rayguns didn't work, a torch didn't work, a pickaxe didn't work. In my frustration, I wrote in "Time Machine". And one popped up. What the ****? A smile dawned on my face. I hopped in, and the option was given to me to either travel to the past or the future. I chose past. When I hopped out, there were ****ing dinosaurs walking around. I clicked one, and realized I could RIDE THEM. So I hopped on a ****ing DINOSAUR, traveled back to the present, and stomped the **** out of robot zombies. Did you just read that sentence? Did you really? I ***ING TRAVELED THROUGH TIME AND JUMPED ON A DINOSAUR AND USED IT TO KILL MOTHER ****ING ROBOT ZOMBIES. This game is unbelievable. Impossible. There's nothing you can't do.

There's also the hybrid items. The developer was asked if you could add a "flaming bear" and he said no...

What if I want to kamehameha something?? Or have Kratos come and help me out?? lol

is ninty developing this? i don't like my DS, but this game sounds awesome, i want it on the psn if ninty isn't publishing.

Well, those are licensed things so they can't be in any game unless the devs get licenses to everything which is impossible. Heck, even Neogaf and LOLWAT are in the dictionary, I think you're being just a little picky

Probably, but I'm as picky as my imaginition tells me to.

I mean, yeah I know why it wouldn't be possible to have thos in game, but still... no flaming bear?? :P

I love creative and off beat games

I also love puzzle games.

Add them together and you get teh uber awesome.

Also you can make god pwn a kracken. That is freaking sweet.
