Fable 2 PC Imminent - Chalk Up Another Lost 360 Exclusive ;)

Note how piracy is the first line of defence console users have against PC getting games. Clearly it isn't as bad as people make it out to be for so many games to still come to PC, the way people make it sound PC would be a no go zone.

That said this is a game I couldn't care less about.

it's funny everytime a game on 360 is also released on pc ps3 fans say 360 lost another exclusive! if u think about how many ps3 and 360 owners there are...pc gaming goes in a category all by itself all games that r microsoft eventually end up on pc! it just has to happen! it is still exclusive it will never appear on ps3...so i dont see how it is considered a lost exclusive....because the discussion is always between ps3 and 360 pc is like the wii...doesnt really matter in comparison

Ok. So it's not an exclusive. But you still can't play it on the Triple. Look at it this way.

In a argument dealing with 360 V.S PS3, someone says "That doesn't count, I can play it on my PC". The PC is not your PS3. Is it?

By the time this comes out the game will be dated so it won't matter anymore. I can play it now on my 360 and I don't have to wait. Even if Gears 2 goes to PC you'll still have to wait at least another year so have fun cows.

Nononono, don't you get it? When a PC game is ported to consoles and it's (as usual) an inferior version, then it means that consoles are closing with the PC. When a console game goes to PC and it's (as usual) the superior version, it doesn't count since it's a port.

If they really wanted sales of this to peak they should've released it alongside the 360 version. Fable II on PC should sell well though not quite as high as the Battlefields, Half Life's, Crysis's, Age of Empires, Everquest, Guild Wars, etc. Frankly, there's much better RPG's on PC already.

Considering the Niche RPG The Witcher sold well over a million this could certainly get up that high as well. Kind of late though considering a PC version wouldn't appear until at least the 2nd half of the year. Like i said, maxing sales of this would've had them putting it on PC/360 at the same time. Ah well though, 360 exclusive lost indeed.

I'm not saying it's fact at all. Usually these things surface right before an announcement however. We'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if Fable 2 ended up on PC later this year along with Gears 2 though. Though neither are fact at this point obviously.
