No. But if it ever hits the PC I'll be sure to get it. ManicAce
You're in luck - they've already announced that there'll be a PC version.
i think it could be brilliant,. i only have time for one RPG this year though, fallout vegas looks like it could match the brilliance of fallout 3. i might wait till both games are out before making my choice. sts106matYeah, well the last game they made was Alpha Protocol, so I'm not sold on New Vegas.
[QUOTE="navyguy21"][QUOTE="lusitanogamer"]I know i'm not. I'm currently playing Fable 2 and i don't think it's anything special. I don't have reasons to be hyped for Fable 3.Animal-MotherDUDE!! Where did you get that combination sig? I want one :P Click the link silleh :P OMG that is awesome, thanks man, you too lusitanogamer :D

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm cautiously optimistic, but I just have too many other games I'd rather play than Fallout right now.
Loved the first, Loathed the 2nd once you met reaver and you got the Crap endings...Will not buy Fable 3 unless it deals specifically with the endings of fable 2 since it should do that since its a direct sequel and takes place 50 years later and you play the son or daugther of the hero in the 2nd game.
and I got fallout new vegas comming so...
They should just rename this franchise, "The role playing games." I mean its just so generic and unexciting. Can't believe Fable II was Xplay's game of the year. Bread_or_DecideI enjoyed part two but I really wouldn't call it a Role playing game though.
Sounds like any other game.its likely a day 1 purchase for me, if you get into the game its ridiculous fun

If the game is decent I migth look for it when it comes for the PC.Arach666
The game has been announced for PC release since being developed so it should come out same time
Yeah, I'm holding my breath, so as to avoid the stench of Molyneux's bull ****.
Won't Get Fooled Again
That makes you a dead sad panda! :oBut if I held my breath for 19 days.... I would die!
That makes me a sad panda!

And someone posted earlier that hype died off after it stopped being exclusive - which I would agree with - although it wasn't that hyped to begin with.
The game isnt receiving a lot of hype because of Fable 2, and because they still seem to be generally viewed as RPGs which is why some people are comparing Fallout new vegas to this. Personally I am not too interested mainly because of how the combat looks and based on previous games I would rather rule Calradia than Albion with my Mongolian army.
Game looks good though, but I wish they spent time and resources developing a Dungeon Keeper 3 rather than this game.
Both of the other fable games over promised and under delivered. Neither were very good, I dont expect much from this one, but it would be nice it they delivered for once.
I'm surprised lems aren't hyping this, and are instead hyping the graphics of a game still a year out. Makes me think all the old lem guard have been banned or that Fable 2 left such a bad taste that even lems won't hype it. i personally just hope the combat is totally reworked into something worth playing. The gameplay just killed 2 for me. I could really use a good RPG besides a new FO.DeathtransitIt dosent seem to me that there are many lems here anymore, it seems to just be full of cows.

Wasn´t it delayed for the PC?A recent cover story on EDGE didn't mention it but you could be right. But it's not like Fable 1 where it was released only for xbox and then ages later for pc so the difference in time should be minamil
No. Fable 3 is going to end up underwhelming just like Fable 2 because Molyneux likes to think himself god at creating games and he way overstates the capabilities of the game. Leading to overhype and complaints because expectations were set too high.
svaubel
so what promises did he made regarding Fable 3?

I didn't like Fable 2 that much, interacxting with NPCs was fun, but the gameplay rather weak and confusing (iirc you had 3 kinds of exp or something like that oO wtf oO). Anyway, I guess I don't buy it :S
People are getting used to Molyneux overhyping and under-delivering.Fable III is 19 days away.
Though we have seen many people talking about it, there has been absolutely 0 hype for this game.
Have people finally learned to hold their breath and wait for the fable score prior to a possible huge disappointment.
I mean I remember fable II and it was hyped as the second coming. Now it's just silence.

A Microsoft game on Steam? lol, if only. I'm getting this day 1 probably. I was going to get New Vegas, but I am just going to wait until New Vegas gets a GoTY edition as the expansions could be pricey and I am not a fan of the game ending after I beat the main quest thing.if it's on a steam deal I will get it but not on console

I absolutely adored Fable 1. Sure, it was short and was very far from "revolutionizing the genre" but it had so much personality. As well as a great story, a wonderful game world and soundtrack, and a good deal of re-playability (for me, at least). Fable 2, on the other hand, was a massive disappointment. Instead of fixing the problems of the previous game, it went into an entirely new direction. And this direction felt ridiculously unfinished. But it appears to me that this time, Lionhead is finishing what it started. And Molyneux has really kept his mouth shut. So I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and will buying it. Even if it ends up being a disappointment, I'll still get some enjoyment out of it.
The Fable games a very good. I don't know why everyone says they're not good games. A game that's not good is Iron Man: The Video Game. Both Fable games are a far cry from Iron Man in terms of quality.
[QUOTE="svaubel"]thats what everyone says, but he hasn't done that for years.No. Fable 3 is going to end up underwhelming just like Fable 2 because Molyneux likes to think himself god at creating games and he way overstates the capabilities of the game. In comparison to his hype of Fable I & II, Molyneux has been really quite tame this time around. Which is for the best, I think. He has a tendency to promise the world and deliver a continent. Sure, a whole continent is nice but it's still not the world.
