If you have it and you want to play it one last time, it's going to be up for the next 6 1/2 hours, after that you'll never experience it again.
I think I'm going to play it until it goes down, I'd suggest others with it do the same.

Sad times.
I am still thinking that Scalebound will share the same fate. I actually hope I'm wrong but the type of game it is and the timing of that year delay seem like a stall period to see what MS wants to do.
A game like Scalebound will take a good amount of money to finish yet this game was almost finished and was scrapped. I like the idea behind SB and I hope it's made but it looks iffy with MS now.
What the heck? Didn't they say it was going to be up until mid-April on Monday? Xbox division is a mess.

Why would you even remotely think Scalebound is going to have the same fate as this? This game is being closed down as it's an ill fated F2P game lacking everything that Fable should deliver on, it's just not a good game to go forward with.

MS seems to be making a lot of behind the doors decisions out of the blue that no one is prepared for. A few weeks back we'd still be calling Quantum Break a xbox one exclusive. I simply think the investors/board members of the xbox division are making ultimatums to turn things around and produce positive results or they will pull the plug.
SB is a JRPG, similarly to what MS suggested Phantom Dust was going to be except Scalebound looks far more ambitious than Phantom Dust ever did. The question comes down to how much faith does MS have in a JRPG (a new IP to boot) being successful vs the money they need to invest to complete the project and the projected return.
If the same metrics were used to shut down Fable Legends, a long running franchise, then it's no stretch at all to see MS doing the same with SB. I could be wrong though and I hope I am Scalebound looks like it would be a great game; but like I said, it depends on how much faith MS has in the project $$$.

I'd be more concerned with Recore and Sea Of Thieves.

Honestly nothing is safe. Nobody will know anything until the last minute with MS.

And Crackdown 3. That game seems to be nothing more than a cloud tech demo at this point.
I wanted that game in baaaad way. Good call, SP!
Yes sir and if I recall, we both go way back in the day of VG so tip of the hat my friend. :)
For all the mean shit that was said by Lems about P.T. I just want to give you all a warm SW shout out..
TLHBO!!
And PT was a third party game Sony had nothing to do with. They were just salty because there was a chance it could have been a PS4 exclusive because the demo was.
Well that looks great. Seems like a mix of Far Cry 1 and Turok. The description also sounds a lot like Far Cry Primal.
Was a good run, I really enjoyed playing the game. I usually spent like 20 minutes each weekend playing a round before moving to another game. Had a blast with all the character types and facing off against the villains.
@walloftruth:
The game seemed to have tons of potential. It is kinda weird though that BC is another game from Lionhead, well, when Peter still headed up LH, that got canned when it looked nearly finished. What are the odds? lol

Scalebound is being made by Platinum games. They're still in business so I'd expect to see it. ReCore on the other hand..

Scalebound will definitely need to be on PC, because generally Lemmings hate RPGs.
I remember that. I wanted that game really bad when I was reading about it in the Official XBox magazine back in the day. I'd be game with them reviving it.
@lostrib:
Oh I see, I think he's pointing out that you could still get into the beta today but then it's gone and only those in the beta can play until April 13th? I dunno for sure, I should have let him answer. . lol
@lostrib:
Lol, yep, I ASSumed he was talking about the email I got so this was the first time I read the OP. :P

Your logic makes no sense. Scalebound is being outsourced and the development is being done by Platinum Games. Its for all intents an purposes a done deal.
So what´s the big deal ? ah, yes, that´s because the Evil MS is shutting down the game servers ..... so who´s playing Resistance or GT5 on-line now ?
You do know what is going on, right.

Hhhmmm.. that's not what it said in this article. Says it would be up until April 13 for closed beta players.

You have a link where it says it's coming down today?

It was late, I was tired and I just saw "15:00 GMT on Wednesday", stopped reading and made the connection with today lol...

Yeah me too. Was fun seeing Bowerstone get bigger as development went on. Alas that's life, and business.
@SecretPolice: but not that it shutdown already? Isn't it up for another month
Like the others I have access until April 13th as I am already in the beta. Don't know what this OP is about.
