dont worry, jealousy doesnt offend me...its flattering
jealous of americans what the...
i would go into my dislike for america but would get banned etc
but again yea those 4 titles are THE games people will be buying lots of...brawl and galaxy are the games to buy for xmas this year on the wii (yes theres others but these are the main 2)
The anti-American peopl are funny, so let me see, you want to tell me that you dislike Americans for some reasons, but i bet you cant come up with a reason that makes americans any worse than you who generealizes 300 million people+ as a group you dislike....unless of course uve met every american in the world and can give me a reason why u hate each one individually
Generalized Hate = Pathetic
Anyway to the topic, I really hope that isnt all the Wiis got to defend itself cause while i cant wait for smash and galaxy (wiifit not so much) it wouldnt be worth the 250 dollars it cost
lol @ all the Nintendo haters saying "Just wait!" What are you guys talking about, Nintendo is already winning. Everyone will have great games to play this holiday season except cows.goodlayYeah i got a chuckle out of that too.
I'll be too busy playing about a dozen other games on the 360 and blowing away noobs on XBL. You know, that online service that costs money but DOESN'T suck?

there something you not understand with the ps2, 3rd party dev have made a lot of money with it,there not a lot of money to make with the wii its a nintendo thing and nintendo target the non gamer it is why you dont see any race simulator like forza2 ,and its lack of power made pc 360 multiplat imposible unlike the ps2 geting every popular game like gta and resident evil, just look the multiplat you get on the wii look like ps2 game !Sales=/=Good games
Sure, Galaxy, Brawl and Mario Kart are phenomenal, but whats after that? Even the PS3 has a more promising game lineup!
I love how its always the same 3 or 4 games (or weight loss devices) used for arguments as to why Wii is going to win. ZanuffCsame goes for the other systems..Â

Think about it.
Last time around the graphical gap was extremely slight. God of War 2 looks pretty much on par with Butcher Bay or Res Evil 4. Debate all you want, but there isn't a huge gap between them.
This time around the graphical gap is so enormous that the Wii can't even receive ports of PS3 and 360 games. They need to develop Wii games separately because the technology is so outdated.
There you have it.
? >_> the quality of the games wasnt even his point, regardless what you think... sure wii play was mediocre, but it sold a huge amount of copies... youre argument doesnt make sence:lol: u think thse games compare to pc and 360 games they dnt even cmpare to ps3 games except for galxy but that could flop likemario sunshine who needs brawl when u have dead or alive or tekken wii fit will be mediocre like wii play and mario kart dsnt compare to gran turismo forza pgr and mny otha racing games

Substitute "Wii" for Gamecube, and 360 and PS3 with Xbox and PS2, and you got the sheepboy argument for last gen (circa 2001)
How did that turn out?
I guess the most important difference is that the Wii is already beating the ever loving hell out of the 360 and PS3 in sales while the GC was lagging behind all generation long.Actually, at one point, the GC was about 1.8 million over Xbox. But once it blew its load with SMS, LoZ:WW, MP, and SSB:M, it was all downhill.
What's next after the games you just mentioned?
...and this generation the 360 was 6 million ahead of the Wii, which has stomped the 360's year head start in mere months without very much in the way of software. Don't even try to compare the two. You're deluding yourself if you think MS stands any kind of chance this generation against Nintendo."You're deluding yourself if you think Microsoft's Xbox stands any kind of chance this generation against Nintendo's Gamecube"- circa 2001
Yeah that sounds familiar as well. ;)

When did I claim that it would be huge? It won't be nearly as big as Wii Sports, it was just so big simply because it came with the console. It will be a casual hit, but unless they come out with a snowboarding game or something, the balance board won't be too big.

[QUOTE="goodlay"]I'm well aware of what it is. But why do you think this title will sell so many consoles? Sorry but WiiFit is a new IP that won't be anywhere near as big a system seller as quite a few of the other Nintendo games. Its not like lifting weights or running on the tredmill workout. Its more like yoga, and other minigames that get you up and going.

Nintendogs, Brain Age, Wii Sports, Wii Fit, Mario Party, and WarioWare (the so called "minigames") are not system sellers.
I guess WiiFit will be added to that list.
[QUOTE="VendettaRed07"][QUOTE="D_Znuhtz"][QUOTE="jedigemini"][QUOTE="D_Znuhtz"]WiiFit will sell more Wii's than Brawl, Galaxy and Mario Kart combined.Mario? Brawl? Kart?Wiifit?
I thought this was a joke topic until I noticed it was jedigemini.

This reminds me of that time that Cows laughed at Nintendogs before it was released and then it essentially went on to win the DS the portable war.
I guess we'll see. There's really no point to this though, if all of these games belly-flop into a pool of mediocrity, you'll just feed us some BS like you did with MP3 above.
First it's "MP3 guaranteed GOTY AAAA", it doesn't happen and you want to be diplomatic: "Well uh, you see, Metroid traditionally hasn't been a system seller, and uhhh..."
Anyway I'm out this piece, if I read too much more of this I will want to smack an infant. In honor of your daily "face it" threads (get a new tagline), I'm going to give you some face it's.
Face it, if you could afford one or two of the other systems, you would buy them.
Face it, you spend all of your time in here trying to convince yourself and others that the Wii is a real console, rather than playing the handful of decent games available to you.
Face it, the Wii is last-gen technology with a fancy new controller.
Face it, it doesn't move gaming forward in any significant way.
Face it, most games would be better suited with a traditional controller, but Nintendo has painted themselves into a corner.
Face it, lack of online play is a big no-no in this, the 7th generation of consoles.
Face it, you've never actually played the other consoles, except begrudgingly at friends houses, and your jealousy was so overpowering that you couldn't even enjoy what you were playing.
Face it, when casuals get over their Wii, they're going to stop spending money on it, and Nintendo will dry up, as they always do.
Face it, those graphics are mediocre now, give it two years and people are really going to be tired of them.
Face it, once 360 and PS3 come down to more casual friendly prices, Wiiners will buy one. Just because they bought a Wii doesn't mean they are done buying. You act as if every Wiiner is a devoted lifelong Nintendo fanboy and once their money is down they are part of your righteous cause.
Face it, the Wii's budget price is the only reason it's selling.
Face it, there's no way anyone will actually play Wiifit more than three times. They may buy it out of my-ass-is-fat guilt, but in fat, lazy America it will not do anywhere near as well as it will in Japan.
Face it, if I'm wrong about any of these claims, I can weasel out of it, just like you do.
no ones gonna read all that... FACE ITFace it, nobody reads all of jedi's posts either, they see his name, laugh, know which dead horse he's beating already, and skim.
Doesnt change the fact that what I'm saying is closer to truth than most of the opinions in here.[QUOTE="jedigemini"][QUOTE="BumFluff122"][QUOTE="goodlay"]I'm well aware of what it is. Calling it a "show-stopper" is an overstatement, nobody is taking Wiifit seriously.
Nobody among the hardcore gaming crowd... which accounts very little for sales these days.I'm well aware of what it is. But why do you think this title will sell so many consoles? Since when was Wii Sports a system seller? Wii Sports sold so well because it came with an extra controller for the price of a single game. I know because I have it and that's why I bought it. It was being mareketed as such as well at the store I boguht it from. Mario Party and WarioWare are both already established IP personalities. I'll give younintendogs and bran age though. How those ever sold so much is beyond me. Nintendogs I can understand but brainage?[QUOTE="darkmario123"]I'm well aware of what it is. But why do you think this title will sell so many consoles? It failes as an exercise machine or whatever you want to call it, it allows for nothing but a few simple exercises, which won't do much for the average joe.
Why WiiFit will be a system seller is also beyond your understanding. darkmario123We're insulting eachother now are we? Alright have fun with that.
