I know you've probably heard this before and you're probably tired of it, but you have to face it. The Wii is a kiddy system. If you don't agree with me, go to your local gamestop and look at the Wii section. All you see are games that make you think, "Is this what gaming is coming to?" Yes, yes, i know the Wii is doing extremely well, i'm not arguing about that. The point is, if you say the Wii isn't aimed at kids, then you need to wake up.

TheWii is aimed at "families." Scratch that, Nintendo games are aimed at "families."

You may call it kiddy, but I feel that term to be wrong...

Kiddy is a meaningless word. Where some just say it as a lack of blood and guts , I see it as early morning cartoons. I wouldn't compare most of the good wii stuff to the level of early morning cartoon audiences.

the wii was aimed at a new market that were going to be easily impressed by the motion sensitive controls that does'nt just include kids

It's hard for me to admit something that isn't true. There are a few mature games in the Wii's library but for the most part they're rated E or T.

I'm not saying that E and T games are automatically bad, even though most Wii games are, coincidently.

When I saw Metroid Prime 3, Zelda, Super Paper Mario and Warioware (hey, it did get AAA), I basically thought, "I know what these games are coming to. My house."

Yeah and that's why E is for Everyone and T is for Teen from 13 and up which dictacts how a game is determine kiddy :roll: !!! And isn't it true that if the wii is kiddy??? Because of the Art style in most wii games??? Or is it how many games that are sold to kids???

for example, when a new Zelda game was announced for the GC, everyone expected a succesor for OoT, but instead they got a new, cell-shaded Link, looking all cute and stylized. People started ranting about this game, saying it could be only for kids and that Nintendo failed, but when it came out, it was highly praised.

If the Wii is kiddy then what does that make the 360 with Viva Pinata games? Mature? :lol:DSgamer64

That games visual style is kiddy... but nobody was disputing this.
