FACT, 360 will hold game of the year for next 2 years PERIOD.

The Sims 2 was a solid game that got a score of 8.9. Look around to other websites for information and videos. Spore has gameplay elements and features unlike anything else out there.

Actually your statement is irrelevant. The debate is about predictions, not about scores. Z:TP was a great game, and many people agree with that, hence why many people thought it was going to get GoTY.

What Gamespot chose in the end, is irrelevant to what people predict will win.

Lastly, its what Gamespot says is law (if a game is AAA or not), however, we argue about nearly everything on this forum no matter where it comes from.

It's not irrelevant. We are on Gamespot, we go on their scores and choices regardless if you like them or not. Use another site otherwise.

Edit : Also you are misinterpreting what I said. People have the right to choose whatever they want. It's an opinion, but not a fact. However, saying that TP is game of the year from other website/magazine's choices is irrelevant on Gamespot.

GTAIV this year and that's on both PS3/360. MGSIV next year, and that's on PS3.  

I could be wrong though. GT5 may take the title instead of MGSIV.

With SSBB, GoW2, Bioshock, Mass Effect, MGS4, and Crysis in the running, SMG might have a heckuva lot of competition. Not to mention Spore, which looks like one of the funnest and most long-lasting games of all time.

the halo franchise and GTA have not won any GOTY, I don't know bout any mario games that have but most GOTYs are games that are fresh and new.... GOW, RE4, etc.....that is why i think either Bioschock or Mass Effect are gonna win because they are introducing new fresh characters, settings and gameplay...unlike mario...which is mario.....in space.....or Brawl which is like what we had in gamecube + characters + equal graphics...
