Fact: Only Kids insult Nintendo Products

The immature kids that say Nintedo is "kiddy" are those kids you play on Gears of War or something who are always swearing and stuff all the time and acting cool.

Yeah, Nintendo has been great over the years, but now, the (older) kids are all obsessed with OMG! teh grafx! on other systems, that the PS3 and Xbox 360 over that they "diss" the Wii.Pepperpop10

Ok I have a new question for everyone. For everybody who isn't a "kid" and hates nintendo, what was your first gaming system and estimate what year you started playing.

Also, even if you are 26 or something, I bet you started gaming at Xbox or worse, *gulp* 360.

Im owner of ATARI ST 1040i (one of the very first sucessfull PC-gaming systems) ATARI 2600 - Master system - Mega Drive (genesis for US) - PSone -Dreamcast - PS2 - and of course PC.

I was never into nintendo world.I cant think myself,not once in my gaming-life that i said " Damn this nintendo game is awesome,should i buy a Nintendo console? "! And the story continues thru this generation too.

I hate nintendo? NO!!! Why to? I respect nintendo as a company that made so many kids (like i was back then) happy and and had fun with their games. What if i dont like them (Games)? Doesnt mean anything.

The only thing i really hated back then were the ppl that were fanboyz and insult Genesis-games all the time. Is that nintendos fault? No!! Its ppls fault. So why to hate nintendo ? I hate the ppl though that insult or bashing without reason Not nintendo or any other big-respectful company like Sony-MS-Sega and so many others.

That ofcourse doesnt mean that i wont say my opinion on game systems/games. For example. I dont like Wii at all.For too many reasons. The main one? Kiddy-image games. Dont appealing for me anymore. IMHO its all about tastes.Never liked mario games and Wii's major titles its all about mario-zelda games. Does that mean i hate nintendo? No way!!! Just i dont like those games Wii offers. That makes me a hater?? To some ppl yes but IM NOT!!. Just saying my "tastes" about gaming!!

Nintendo have been around long enough for any gamer to have acquired respectable adoration for Nintendo's gaming. Honestly the Gamecube was not too hot by Nintendo's standards, and look how the newbies are coming out in there droves. Embarrassingly.

I'm 25 yrs old. I own, and have enjoyed almost every Nintendo system made (save for VB). However, I would insult (in other words "put down") many of Nintendo's choices, hardware, IP etc. I love them, but in the same instance I'm holding them to that much higher of a standard.

So does that make me a "kid", b/c I view their respective content with a more balanced point of view rather than just accepting all that they do is good?

It's more childish in my humble opinion to treat them as if they do no wrong, same as if someone acted as if they only do wrong. Both instances are just opposite sides of the same coin.

Criticism is not insulting, unless you listen through the viel of fanboyism.

Saying that Nintendo makes kiddy games is valid criticism, whether or not you like it.

Get a life, kid.

I am not a Nintendo fan and never will be and I see nothing about the wii so far that makes me want one. Nintendo is NOT universal and not everybody grew up playing that crappy NES console. Ask anyone in Australia, U.K and Europe who started gaming in the late 80's/early 90's what they grew up on and I guarentee 98% or people will say the Sega Master System and then the Mega Drive. The NES had no pressence in PAL countries, the Master System TRASHED it and still had games coming out in 1996.

Sure the Super Famicom is one of my very favoutite consoles and there are so many games on it I love but they are not nintendo games, they are Capcom, Konami, Square, Natsume, Irem, Masaya/NCS and numerous other 3rd parties of the time games. 3rd party games made the SFC what it is, not nintendo games. The reason the N64 and GC failed in the end is because all it had was nintendo games. But that can't be true can it? because EVERYBODY in the world loves nintendo! :roll:

Not everybody likes Nintendo. Learn to live with it. Playing Nintendo games doesn't make you more mature either.

ive long realized this too. Generally its only kids that dont enjoy "kiddy" things. Look at pixar movies. HUGE movies on college campuses. Your average 12 year old thinks its not cool enough though. Same basic thing applies here.Cali3350

Its so funny how all kids want is to get out of their parents house and be on their own. They think its all fun and games. Then when they get to college and the real world slaps them in their face, most of them (myself included) would kill to have 1 more summer vacation as worry free as they were back when they were a kid.

Nintendo make games for kids, yet adults can play them to.
