Facts on why the psp is better then the ds

i dont see how you fanboys defend that todler system. i used to try to like my ds, but after i got my psp i realized that its way better and i was a complete fanboy for ds. the ds is taking the same kiddy route as the wii, going casual trash and cartoon games all the way. any nintendo power subscribers out there? the list for new ds games has a couple of good ones comming out, but the list is mostly this sort of trash:
Alvin and the chipmunks.American Girl.Disney friends.another ratatouille game.smart kids game club.Wild petz: Tigerz (has to be the 10th petz game, along with horsez, hamsterz, etc.)the 2nd or 3rd suite life of zach and cody game.horse life.my spanish coach, my french coach, my word coach.(not kiddy, but more casual trash)sponge bob atlantis sqaurepantis (the 3rd or 4th sponge bob game to come to ds)
theres several others, but im tired of listing and you get the point. the ds could have been good, but its kiddy garbage, except for a few games. stop denying it. i own both ds and psp and the psp has to be the best in every way except sales. oh, and while im on the topic of sales, all of your little sales that the ds get are also from kids begging their mommies to buy them there cool new "advanced gameboy". garbage graphics, garbage games(except for a few), its all garbage. i could post a lot more, but i wanna see some response first.TreetarD93

psp stays true to there fanbases an doesnt kiddyize everything down to lowest denominator

I bought a PSP on launch and eventually sold it after waiting 4 months for a good interesting game release. I bought a DS lite on release because of good games being released one after another. I prefer the DS graphics over PSP because with the DS they don't push it over the limit with 3D animations making them look choppy like I have seen on the PSP.

The PSP isn't that bad now and I will eventually buy the new edition once it is VERY cheap.

Check the software release dates for the DS, the DS gets MUCH more games than the psp, but most of these games are shovelware, seriously just check it out, how many "imagine" games do you see, imagine babys, imagine cats, imagine horsez or w/e, the Wii has better third party support than the PS3 and 360 but 90% of the games it gets are crap, i'd rather get 5 solid PSP games every week than 30 rushed shovelware on the DS every week. More exclusives yes but better exclusives is all an opinion.

No, it's decided by who gets better games, and theres no proof that DS gets better games, so DS didn't win, unless it's only a "which sells better" thing.

Quality > quanity, the fact that it has MORE exclusives doesn't mean it has better ones, if we look at the ratings. and IMO games should decide who wins, but if SW only goes by sales, then yea DS won congratz.

If Quality > Quantity, why did you bother bringing up AAs? Shouldn't AAAs determine it? Wouldn't the DS win then?

Wait I thought you wouldn't play on a DS even if Ninendo paid you to. Then how come Phantom Hourglass' "game controls dont feel good." Now how would you make this assumption when you never played the game? I thought the controls were different yet pleasing in many ways.

I have both, and by far and away we play the DS more, the PSP does alot of cool things, but it doesn't do any of them very well, music, Ipod is better, movies, portable dvd, screen is to small for more than person, games, the pathetic analog pad thing is terrible, it makes GTA much more difficult to play.

It certainly has more graphical power than the DS, but it really is about games, and Nintendo understands portable gaming, much better than sony, most of the PSP library consist of Ps2 ports, while good games they don't translate well to portable gaming
