Why seek help here.  If you get a ring of death call the xbox phone number.  They fix any defective units free of charge not even shipping.  So why do people feel they have to come here for help?

Microsoft,at first,said 3-5% but then said that the rate had recently gone up,and havent said anymore about it,so I take that its bad.

Add me to the percentage. Mine just died today.

Yeah, everyone I know has had theirs since launch and they're alive and kicking. Mine's live for 2 weeks! wOoT! I doubt all the death talk with 360's. Want to talk about death and a console in the same sentence? Talk about PS3 sales....

Its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be but its definatly big enough to effect a decent ammount of users.

I think PS3 is by far the worst built console. I keep hearing a lot of the PS3 disk drives not being able to read disk or the buttons are malfunction.Click_Clock

Yeah Im glad I didnt get sucked up in to the hype and buy it at launch, it seems they have a lot of fixing to do, I can understand some problems since its software but it seems to have a bit more than it should.  Anyway I hope Vienna turns out good, its supposibly going to be totally diffrent with new type of Interface and everything.
