L4D or resistance will come out on top. Fallout 3 is a bad FPS and a bad RPG put together from the looks of it, I'm still getting it to see how well they did the post apoctalyptic world! I'm pretty sure I spelt that word wrongly, you know which one :PEspada12

You check the gameplay vids for yourself, I am just stating my opinion. I'm going to play through it to see the world and story (obviously won't be connect to the previous games but we shall see if it can hold its own)
[QUOTE="Samurai_Xavier"]How is fallout an FPS?

I would assume because you (mostly) play in first person and you control the shooting of guns (mostly) in real time. Bioshock's a fps, and so is Fallout 3. Doesn't mean it can't be good with good rpg elements.
I guess that makes a game like Mass Effect a squad based third person shooter.

yep.
Left for Dead looks interesting and pretty fun (I'm a Romero fan), but it's interface looks jerky and all over the place. It also seems like more of a novelty than a full fledged game. Fallout 3 is just atrocious.
FarCry2 v. Resistance seems like a more significant contest. In which case, I'll nod in Resistance's direction since I love and trust Insomniac far more than Ubisoft--Whom I neither love nor do I trust. Plus, I didn't care for the first Far Cry.

To a degree, yes. The difference here is that Mass Effect's turn out isn't dependent upon its shooter aspects. The game still emphasized choice, story-telling, and character building. It's character development does not revolve around the shooting, so it's much more an RPG than a shooter.
Oblivion With Guns is totally dependent upon its shooting and whatever character-building aspects it has are too minute to allow th game a slot in the RPG genre.
which will be the best our of these FPS . For me i think fallout 3 will probly win but i dont now they all are great games probly all will end up getting a 9 or higher score. defkickjamFallout 3 isn't an FPS, it's an RPG that can be played in 1st or 3rd person. Do your research. :|
