Far Cry 2 freezing up on 360

Playing through Far Cry 2 and it just freezed up on me at 62%. I kept trying to reboot and load again but it doesn't let me. So i went to the different forums to see if anyone else has experienced this problem and it appears many people have.
And for anyone that is playing Far Cry 2, to get to 62% is putting in over 25 hours a game time. you have been warned!

I've actually had it happen to me, during a load screen, before starting the game, it just stops and you can't progress....anyone else had this problem?

Apparently the PS3 version has freezing issues too, although I've encountered nothing yet. Still, this kind of thing seems to be happening way too much this generation. It seems every other big game has a problem like this.Floppy_Jim

Not to mention bugs, glitches..etc. Games are just getting more technical and demanding, so these stuff get over looked, perhaps.

The link is your friend. You might of been lucky enough to not have it happen to you, doesn't mean there isn't some issue with the game.

This sort of thing is becoming more common although it is nothing new from UbiSoft, I remember having to restart POP2 because it got glitched at the end :evil:, I try and avoid a game with any big game save destroying glitches from that day so I will probably give FC2 a miss until its patched or something.

Yeah same, apart from some multiplayer bugs it's fine.

srysly its very boring.

it takes 10 minutes to reach to the destination but the action part is only for 2 minutes :|

much more fun than you typical fps that has narrow corridors, you can sneck in, everything is scripted. fc2 is a much better game than cod4 type games
