Far Cry 2: Pc vs Console

Console version runs the game graphiclly at medium settings...and yes its been confirmed...

I suppose the PC version will be getting mods as well.

Better textures, better draw distance, better lighting etc.

lol why would anyone want farcry for the consoles. it was made for the PC (original farcry), and im hoping that the devs didnt just make a console version 1st, and then throw it on the PC.

we all remember farcry instincts predator right? it felt like i was using a wireless controller with the battery dying every 2 seconds.

The game was in development for PC but was later decided that it would also be ported to them Consoles

That would explain its lackluster elements I noticed here and there and overall I was not that impressed graphically with the game. But given its rather sandbox nature, I can understand that. Fallout 3 doesn't look that great either.

Of course, why do you think the games won't have the same level of graphics as Crysis? Because it was made for both PC AND Consoles. This severly limits the graphic options.

It's really no contest here. This game was designed for the PC. It's superior in every aspect--which is a surprising feat for Ubisoft of all developers.Bentham

Not really surprising, Ubi's PC exclusives always were excellent. It's just their ports that suck and not just ports to PC, their ports from PCs to consoles suck too (have you looked at how bad Dark Messiah is on 360? Ughh)
