If this is true, the writer(s) must not have come near the original Far Cry 3, a game with a lot of intensely unfunny writing (albeit mostly in the item descriptions, not the dialog - Vaas was funny in a disquieting way).
Anyway, tonight is a bad night to have a test to study for.

I didn't expect or ask for the item descriptions to attempt humor.
Unfortunately, they did. With tragic consequences.

Most of that was the result of Michael Mando's improv skills, which is why Vaas has the only lines of actual quality in that game.
Maybe after I get around to finishing Far Cry 3 vanilla.darkspineslayeru wot m8 How did you resist not finishing?
So I just got an email from AMD and they just sent me a game code for free because I bought my graphics card during one of their never settle bundles. Paid $300 for my card. Got Bioshock and Crysis 3 for free. I thought that was it but they surprised me with Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Wow I'm impressed. They didn't have to do that because that wasn't what they were offering at the time I bought my card. I'm starting to become a fan of AMD. $300 card but $150 in games that I was going to buy anyway so basically i paide $150 for my 7950. And people say PC gaming is expensive hahahahahahahahahaha.
[QUOTE="BPoole96"][QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]Maybe I'll play this over Far Cry 3jg4xchampFar Cry 3 is really good though But this lets me flip off dragons. But it's still good, it got a little weird towards the end but it was awesome. Also, great scene that one in Bad Boys II.
Quick Look.
It seems some of my concerns about the humor are justified. Certain gags seem to come directly from the mentally deficient "LOL SO RANDOM" style of comedy.
But like Jeff was saying, the general aesthetic is so good and so fresh. I wish they had just deadpanned the whole thing and let the humor come naturally from the absurdity of the situation.
Downloading now. Thank you AMD for free gamez!
EDIT: Wait, can't download it now. DAMNIT UBISOFT LET ME PLAY ALREADY!
