This is so awesome. I'm so glad to hear Ubisoft are investing in another Far Cry...especially after how awesome Far Cry 2 was. Three major Assassin's Creed games, a couple of bastardized Prince of Persias, One or two Splinter Cells etc....It's a good thing they have their priorities straight. Let's hope one of their best games, BG&E2, never sees the light of day. =D

Far Cry 2 is one of the most polarizing games I've ever played, here people either love it and think its one of the greatest games ever or despise it for the gameplay flaws presented.

I think its pretty good, but could definitely use some improvement. I know for sure some mission variety, better fast travel, and co-op would do wonders. Take a page from Red Dead Redemption Ubisoft, they did both giant wilderness areas that aren't boring AND carnivorous animals, something you guys apparently couldn't put in.

Yeah! I absolutely loved Far Cry 2! :D It's definitely the most underrated shooter (at least on consoles) this gen. First day buy for me.

Last year some site talked to the creators of Far Cry 2 and one of them accidently slipped Far Cry 3 is in the works. He also said that there's a 95% chance it's gonna be set in the snow. And again he adds mostlikely in Antarctica. I dont remember where I saw it.

Yeah that was the only redeeming factor of the original. After the car ride from the airport in to town the game went downhill fast.
