As a devout christian, I object to all the perversions in the game. FC4 was pervert enough, but on FC5 they just went on overdrive when it comes to perversions.

I know, these days its illegal to call people pervert no matter what they do. But Ubi are still perverts, and you can tell them I said so.

£49.99 on PC, will never pay that.

Still haven't finished the others (or 90% of Ubisoft titles) so no point anyways.

Yeah what's up with the elevated prices lately? People were saying they put in MTX because people wouldn't pay $10 more for a game. Well here we are... They are charging $10 more for the games but there are still MTX...

I'll pick it up for $20-30 in a few months. Ubisoft games drop in price so fast. I bought South Park TFBH day 1 for $48 and its already down to $20.

Guess it depends where you are located, in most of Europe FC 5 is priced the same at 60€(so roughly 20% more than 60$), just that certain privileged islanders are used to getting games cheaper(49£ still cheaper than 60€)

Tho Microsoft is taking the cake still, asking 70€ for new releases on windows store, pretty good way to keep it dead.

Because the story is downright awful with absolutely nothing to say considering the themes used. The story is panned in most reviews.

Figures....the lead writer worked on Bioshock Infinite, another shit for brains game when it came to social themes and being about something.

Except it's nothing like previous far cry games. You can literally do one quest/voyages per 3 factions in SoT and you've already experienced majority of the content in SoT. "But the co-op and pvp makes up for the lack of content", ummm **** no, it's a piss poor version of pvp/co-op with no rewards. I literally killed 8 people (or pirates) and have sank a good 5 ships and it's gotten me nothing unless someone fights me with their treasure/haul.

I didn't know it was the same writer, but it explains why many of the reviews are critiquing the story for not really digging deep enough into the themes presented in the game. Bioshock Infinite had that same issue.

All the same, I would like to play Far Cry 5. It has been a while since I have played one. I'm not really bothered at all by the story.

@ghosts4ever: I don’t think you really understand what a rehash is. Surprised you didn’t go full asinine and use your go to ‘copy and paste’ nonsense.

thats what im telling.

far cry, COD, battlefield, AC are just rehash of previous games release year later without evolving anything.

this is just far cry 3 in different setting.

but it will be decent game anyways. hold me till Metro exodus.

hunting does count towards crafting, you can also get a perk that makes crafting items buyable so you can pretty much do ether one.

Metro last light have different gunplay than 2033 that is very satisfying compare to mediocre gunplay of 2033.

Metro Exodus is evolving into right direction after first 2. its getting more open while keeping linear parts too. in order to be different than previous 2.

Each and every Metro game is different than previous game. cant say same about far cry. ubisoft are lazy. they are just keep copy and paste same mechanics into different setting. waste of time.

Saw one review that summed it up, if you liked previous games then this will be another great addition, if you didn't like previous games then you won't like this; pretty simple.

Will still end up playing as a dude, tho

Seems to be silent protagonist so far, which is great, because the ones in the previous games were extremely annoying.

However, the game now has character customization close to PUBG. You can pick between a few pre-determined faces, hairstyles and get new clothing in game.

Running great so far. i7 7700k and 1070 and I get 1080p/60fps rock steady. My bro will be running 1440p when we rock coop tonight, and he's running a 8700k... Probably expecting largely similar performance.

Game works well here, max settings 1080p, hovers around the 60 fps, mostly 60+ dips with explosions towards 50, but with gsync unnoticable.

It's a really good port. It needs a beaffy cpu tho.

I played the original Metro 2033 plus Last Light and 2033 Redux. The gunplay among them seems very similar to me. It felt even more of the same than any of the Far Cry games. At least, the far Cry games have better staying power unlike the Metro games where play them once and that's it.

Maybe I'm just burntout on far cry after 100% 3 & 4, but I'm really not enjoying this one as much. I give it a 7 so far. The premise is a little dull, Montana church people, oh boy! I liked far cry 3 & 4 gameplay and mission formulas better. Having to search around everywhere for missions kinda sucks. I also don't care for the follower system, as they are a drag. My plan was to 100% this one, but I don't see myself doing it and will probably just finish the main mission.

I'll get on it once I get all the house tasks done, hopefully in a week or two. I hate spring clean up. But, we need to get em done before the monsoon season hits.

If FC5 released in February (like it should have), I would have time to play and finish the game before spring clean up. But, March-April? Darn it. ;)

Without playing it, it's Ubisoft. I have played enough of their games: Watch Dogs, Assassins Creed and Far Cry's to now it is just that.

Just read the Ubisoft game review................

Quit lying. 2033 and Last Light are classic rehashes. But, the term rehash doesn't mean the game is bad.

I mean Bloodborne and the Dark Soul games all look the same to me. Yet, no one dings them for it. Same goes for the Uncharted games.

Consoles run this at 60 fps too right?
