Oh god. Where do I start. So many moments.

In no particular order..

EXCEPT

1. Sony's 2006 E3 conference. there is just no comparison. None. nada. squat.

2. PSJohn. Self ownage personified.

3. MGS4 getting a 10. A lot of people ate crow that day, me included.

4. MGS 3 flopping. Oh, my god.

which leads me to...

5. Twilight Princess flopping. facepalm x100000. Jesus. death threats? REALLY?

It was supposed to be the perfect game, the game of the generation, the game that would place the wii on an unreachable pedestal. Many sheep expected it to be the first game in a while to get a 10, which was a big deal back then when the general consensus was that GS would never give out another 10.

However, it only got a 8.8, and the reaction from the sheep afterwards was something that I just will never forget.

One of my favorite moments here was when someone made a God of War 3 vs Shadow of the Colossus in terms of epicness and the poll was broken where you can vote as many times as you want. So SotC ended up getting around 2000 votes before the poll fix itself.:lol:

I liked "Can PC do HD?" and "Einstein and Hitler lived during different time periods". "Resident Evil 4 takes place in Mexico" was cool to. However, Aku101 is pretty much the greatest system warrior around. "Chess takes no skills" and "Stephanie Meyer is more talented than Michael Angelo" are, by far, the funniest things I've ever read or heard from anyone... EVER.

Anything from Obamanian/Saolin that ended up comparing x game to Fable :lol:

ff13, mgs4, haze the halo killer, lair... so many lulz.

sw was never the same after the ps3 made it's comeback. less funny more teh serious.

death threats to Jeff Gerstmann were everywhere, people permabanning themselves by posting the worst images they could find on google (mostly goatse Gamespot was in turmoil for about a week. Almost every thread had a lock on it. It was hilarious the way people exploded

Oh I agree. I never said GoW3 was more epic, I just found the poll results very funny, through I was one of the spammers.:P

When Lair flopped it was pretty funny.
