I adore this intro. not only does it bring back those fuzzy feelings of nostalgia but the song is so unique and catchy and the way its edited is just sublime. great game, great opening

Not sure if anyone has posted this, but the Witcher 2 is effing unreal...

This one gets credit for just being plain clever awesomeness...

To this day one of my all time fave intros is the first Gran Turismo on the ps1, its so atmospheric and set the scene for the game fantastically.

so frikkin awesome. I remember the first time I played this game and saw this. I was a Nintendo fanboy, but this made me want to sell my cube and buy a PS2 :P. Glad I didn't, but I am also glad I am no longer a fanboy lol.

Too few developers seem to take intros seriously, they really set the tone for the rest of the game.

Edit: and Forza horizon strangely enough, the festival atmosphere is epic

I've never beaten the game but this opening takes the cake. It's a thing of beauty.

The Kingdom Hearts opening cinematics are always amazing.

Not one mention of Metal Gear Solid 2 thus far? For shame.

Not really in any particular order, though Lost Odyssey maybe just takes it.. Witcher 2 is probably second as well.. But I love the others also.
