Favorite platformer game

Well, I was about to jump all over your opinion there, but then realized the thread title is favorite platformer game. :P

LBP is a cool game, but damn is it weak as a platformer.

Well, it's still a platformer, so it's his favorite platformer, "favorite platformer" doesn't mean favorite game that has the best platforming aspects, it just means your favorite game that is a platformer.

This is an absolutely horrible list because of your major exclusions. Wheres Donkey Kong? Wheres Sonic? Little Big Planet? But you have rayman and ape escape, seriously?????

The first four Sonic games on the mega drive are the best platformers I´ve ever played on consoles.

Overall I would say Prince of Persia on the PC.

It´s very satisfying to finish such a long,hard game,that´s for sure.

Banjo Tooie. at its time of release and to this day it has been the best platformer for me.
