I'm more a fan of the Sload myself.Playable race? Probably the Bretons. Gotta love the half-elves. If we count all races, definitely the Tsaesci.

i've chosen the bosmer or wood elf because of their archery and sneaking abilities, you get to see a lot of unnusual behavior from npc's when they don't know you there and i have listened to more than a few conversations that made me laugh.
plus bosmer can calm wild beasts so they are pretty useful.
And why I picked High Elf was it's the best Mage race.
Debatable, Bretons are equally skilled, their 25% resistance to magic is well worth it. But High Elves have extra magicka regeneation.[QUOTE="lordreaven"][QUOTE="AdobeArtist"]Debatable, Bretons are equally skilled, their 25% resistance to magic is well worth it. Their "Passive" stat just gives them 50 more mana (and you start with the fury spell, which is pretty damn good at the game start). And why I picked High Elf was it's the best Mage race.

While Bretons have 25% magic resistance (passive), Dragon skin once a day spell (Shield 60 points for 60 seconds on self) and starts with Conjure Familier.

Well starting with an expert illusion spell is pretty awesome, so in short next game I'll be picking High Elf. :P[QUOTE="lordreaven"]Only as an once a day ability. I like human not just because I am human, but because it helps me in my theory that the world of Dark Souls is just the nightmare mindstate of your Skyrim character when he goes to sleep.
I think it would make sense for Vaermina to use the terrifying world in Dark Souls as nightmare fuel in the nightmares she gives unfortunate Nord/Breton/Imperial adventurers.
[QUOTE="BlackDevil99"]Fully aware of this, yes...but I didn't lump orcs with the rest because no one likes orcso yeah, nitpicking but the orcs are elves, they're all part of the mer (elves)

More nitpicking
*nerd voice* According to Elder Scrolls lore, Redguards are not genetically linked to the other human races *end nerd voice*
I dunno.
In Morrowind I did a playthrough as an Orc.
Than I did a playthrough as a Wood Elf.
In Oblivion I did my playthrough as a Nord.
Honestly, it doesn't really matter to me. I guess my favorite was the Dunmer out of those three, but that's because I was shooting everyone in the face with arrows. Always awesome.
