That said, i'll most likely buy Halo Wars aswell (i have total faith in it being a great game).

Killzone 2, hands down. I'm not much of an RTS fan.

This thread really is lame. Are the cows so desperate at this point for ownage that they have to compare a console RTS Vs a game that has been in development since before E3 2005. At least use Halo:Recon Vs Killzone. I do think Halo Wars will have good sales but only compared to the other console RTS games just because of the name Halo. It is not even Bungie doing Halo Wars. It is not like there is even hype for Halo Wars really. This is the first thread in a long time I have see for Halo Wars and it was made for a stupid versus thread. Cows are getting so desperate.Eltroz

I in fact think it can be a great game, and I didn't use Halo:recon because it isn't coming out in february 2009. You lems are always the ones saying kill zone 2 is going to suck, so stick with your guns and stop seeming so desperate.They are both great games which are coming out in february 2009 and we're just looking at opinions.

Like I have said before the cows should thank Bungie because with Halo:Recon Bungie just made sure that KZ2 will not get yet another delay. There is no way Sony wants KZ2 going against a Bungie made Halo fps.

Firstly this line doesn't quite make sense : If you need to find ways to not compare it against 360's biggest hyped game by saying feburary then that is sad.Becaus THE WHOLE POINT OF THIS THREAD is for the 2 biggest hitters for each console of the month. 

Secondly : On the contrary, I was expecting Halo wars to win, not kill zone 2 since there had been so much hate for it till now. Just because it has a huge budget doesn't mean its going to be an amazing game, look at gears of war as a fine example.

I will not win the battle? what battle are you talking about. I was interested to see which side would lean to which game. And if you look at my past posts, you will see that I am a manticore. I was one of the few who was saying that Resistance 2 was going to get way worse than gears of war 2. And KZ2 only got delayed because Resistance was coming out in the same month and they didn't want it to hurt sales.

My question is, why the heck are you comparing an RTS, to an FPS? System Wars... it gets dumber every day.Sony_Narutendo

Read my post please. I am aware that they are 2 different genres, but I'm just comparing the biggest hitters, Im not asking which one is better. i just want to see which one people will be buying ( getting more sales)

Killzone 2 will beat out Halo Wars easily in sales and game quality IMO. If M$ did plan to release it against Killzone 2 then all they really did was just hurt the sales of their own game.EXLINK

If it's going to hurt anyone's sales it's going to be Halo Wars. Don't quote me on this, but to be honest I don't think Halo Wars is AAA material, whereas Killzone 2 looks like it certainly is. Halo Wars looks okay, but to be honest I think if people had to choose they'd go with Killzone 2.

Good job, this is the kind of reply I wanted to hear. The whole point of system wars is to hear the opinions of the other console owners and debate about it. As for your post. I agree. KZ2 is not a RTS :P

Halo gets the sales, KZ@ gets the quality

Killzone 2 looks like another generic, overrated and gray FPS with some flashy graphics.
