Hey fanboy, check out the video 2 posts above in my quote. Then we can talk about graphics...this is not surprising in the least. FM3 can't even touch GT5 Prologue let alone GT5 itself.

Yeah PD definitely made the better looking tribute video. That doesn't mean they've made the better looking game, but the difference in these videos was bigger than I would have assumed.
When you mentioned the difference in headlights it reminded me of these pics I saw beneath the videos in the comments section:
And finally... this is one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen. Can't wait to play with one in game!

From what I heard there is no CGI, all in engine. As for added AA and other things thats a factor in both videos.

There has been no actual mention of this. I've only heard a couple guys on this forum say that, and with no link to back it up. These are the same people that claimed the GT5 E3 trailer was all CGI too... until they were proven wrong. So I'd go with both vids being made in-engine, using the replay mode (or whatever it's called), and then AAed up further after the fact before release, unless you can find something that says diffreently.
Same problem as the other thread, one HD source, one non-HD source, hard to compare.
