Sadly, we'll have to wait for FFXIII to be more shown at TGS this year. Fable 2 isn't a laughing matter. It looks good so far and I though the dog sim was cute. Way to early to say anything about either of these two games right now.

I don't know if anybody pointed this out yet but Fable only scored an 8.6. It's not like this is some award winning franchise (like FF). Fable 2 has a lot of potential but it hasn't earned the respect you're attempting to give it.

Believe it or not, but with gears of war and Uncharted drakes fortune and mass effect making me a believer that facial expressions of that quality can be done on next gen console, this is how final fantasy will look when the game is done. Oh and u think this is awesome, just wait until we see the final version of MGS4, I guarantee u, Kojima will set the bar with graphics in consoles when the game is done.

I think this is something square enix can certainly pull off. I mean just look at what Naughty Dog has shown so far, and they still have 7 months to make the game look even better.

Drake does indeed look marvelous, FF13 DOES NOT though, it is by far the ugliest PS3 game i have seen, the surroundings look like a joke

You do forget that they made Fable on pc, thus the amazing pics back then, and then the innevitable downgrade for xbox was a given, now as it seems this IS running on 360, it has been confirmed it does

Lions Head Studios HAS NOT proven its claims in the year of development time, look at the videos of them play-testing the game its still fairly unimpressive and Molyneux seems more interested in making a good dog sim than a good overall game.

And I love the Crysis = 90% done, Fable 2 = 10% done BS your spinning. Apart from the fact you've completely made these numbers up and based on what we know (both Fable 2 and Crysis are TBA on their release dates) these games could release mere months apart.

I also like how you assume since you believe Fable 2 is 10% done it's visuals are SOMEHOW going to transcend that of Directx 10 capable PCs on the static 360 hardware which is not Dx10 capable and has severe memory and CPU deficiencies compared to modern gaming PCs.

Oh, what's that? Lionhead have given vague assurances the visuals will get much, much better? We'd better believe them! I can't think of a Lionhead or Molyneaux game that has ever been overhyped and then not delivered (when in reality I can't think of one of their games that wasn't a massive flop). We'd also better assume these vague assurances mean better looking than a Dx10 game. It's only logical, right?

Stick with what your good at, making lists of 360 exclusives full of multiplats and games not yet announced on 360.

1.  Just by stating that Fable 2 looks better than Crysis shows your extreme level of fanboyism, thus making this thread garbage.  Xbox 360 has great looking titles like Mass Effect, Halo 3, etc etc, but saying Fable 2 destroys any console game specially at this early stage, is just plain ignorant, let alone better than a franchise who has had AAA titles already and a much, much wider fanbase

The videos just show people working on the assets, you do not suppose everyone works in engine let's say to make a barrel, they work on maya-3dsmax software, so get a clue first at what you actually see

The only ingame times were at 02.06 and 00.38 and the dog demo that did look barren, but when in GDC went towards the level end, it did look stunning, when he shoot the monsters, so it is ALL real time on 360, jut get over that

Also Fable was one of the most beautifull xbox games, i still have not seen any game close to how amazing greatwood looked, so no they do not have to prove they are masters in graphics at all

I never bashed FF13 as a game, i will probably like it as much as Fable 2, although full real time is more my thing unlike the constrains of FF13, but i NEVER suggested bad for FF13, just for its mediocre graphics, that could get better, i keep an open mind always, it is not my fault that we have seen ZERO of FF13 for a year now

Another funny fact is that both of these games destroyed Fable in sales by about 5 million+. You can keep hyping the so called "FF killer," because you are just setting yourself up for ownage.

Agreed Final Fantasy 10 marked the end for my hype for the game Fable was to short but an incredible game espeically the lost chapters ive beat fable like 4-5 times and i plan 2 get fable 2

The TC obviously doesn't know that 1.5 million copies of FFXIII will selling in Japan alone, and probably 3 million worldwide.  Not to mention that Sony has many other RPGs going for it, like White Knight Story, and Folklore (both of which look more original than any of the 360s exclusive RPGs).  The PS3 is getting its fair share of WRPGs too, so the PS3 has nothing to worry about in the RPG catagory.

Also, last time i checked, Fable was a flop and Fable 2's graphics aren't that impressive, so i dont know what the TC is smoking.

BTW Elveon is PC/360 ONLY, just in case people think it is for PS3 too, and frankly now, speedtree could NEVER EVER do trees like Fable 2, they are generations behind, 2D looking, with fake shadows and not properly or real time lit

To better understand what i am saying, in Elveon as Oblivion there is ONE light the tree is lit from, NOT the sun or anything, when the sun changes, shadows DO NOT change, do NOT move, and the leaves DO NOT cast shadows properly on ground or the other leaves, Fable 2 does all the above, imagine watching the sun set, and the shadows from the near buildings cast on every leaf on the near tree, Elveon and Oblivion could do that only in dreamworld

I think Fable 2 will be a great game when its finally released.  People might have been let down by the first game, but it was still a good game even with alot of features removed.  Afterall it still managed a 8.6 score after everything was said and done.
