Anything but crappy turnbase will keep the AAA gameplay from Final Fantasy 12's, fresh.redneckdouglas

12's gameplay was disappointing IMO.

My least favorite final fantasy game, not because of the gameplay, but I didn't feel the level of addiction I did in other games. It's the first FF game in a while I didn't finish(or get very close to finishing)

Is there a way to block the reality people on here? They always seem to get my hopes DOWN.

They said the same thing about the Final Fantasy 7 movie, and also Mistwalker said the same thing about Lost Odyssey, and they did not have simultaneous releses.

Expect early-to-mid 2009 Cows, there are other things to consider besides localisation, such as potential shortages, marketing and Sony's release schedule.

Don't get excited just yet. That date is most likely going to be for Japan, while the states and Eur. get it later on in 09. Plus it could get delay.Wanderer5

With the exception of FFX-2, every FF game starting with VII has had officially announced release dates bumped.

The fact that Square has been "mum" about the release date thus far means one of two things:

1. They're keeping their mouths shut to avoid the holocaust that would occur when they inevitably bump the date

or

2. They're keeping their mouths shut because the game is lightyears away from completion.

I'm hoping it's the former...but with Square's track-record it's most likely the latter :(

Also, you have to remember that FFXIII will be the first game to utilize the brand-new White Engine...

Not only does SqEnix have to develope/test/tweak FFXIII...they'll also be testing/tweaking the White Engine during the entire process.

This is NOT a simple task.

Dam, hopefully they do though, thats too bad for Europe but screw them they always get everything else first lmao jk, but they're getting that PS3 Tivo-type thing so they can wait for FF, but if its released for Japan and US in the fall 08' i'll be very happy.

I really hope it comes out this year.
