Yep a graphical marvel to be sure. Is this game going to be full 1080p, 60FPS. It looks like it.

Nah, it's not just that, all JRPGs they have been making recently are very cinematic. Recently the only overly cinematic game I've been interested in is Resonance of Fate, no clue why I dislike it, just do.

I've played FF 1,2,3,7,8,9,10.

And I havn't been able to get into one since 3(Or 6 for the people who will eventually call me out. Nevertheless when I was a kid it was 3.)

The characters just aren't interesting. A talking wolf? A giant doll operated by a cat? I meen, I understand it's supposed to be fiction. But the characters are just off the wall crazy. Maybe I'm just sick of ATB. All you do in Final Fantasy is hold X to blow through the battles. The enemies before the bosses aren't even challenging 90% of the time. Once you get to the boss, spam summons to win it. I'm sure I'm going to revieve fanboy outrage from this post. But to me, the combat is tired. I hope they make the regular battles more difficult. ALA Persona series where it actually takes some thought.

Nevertheless, I still plan on keeping my eye on it. Just not that high up on the hype meter for me.

Yeah I know :( Just as bad imo. I've said it before though and I suppose I'll say it once more: This isn't the first time a FF game has had pop music in it as a theme.

I just wish that this was all set to some of the in game music, from what I've heard of it thus far it's great.

Don't take this personally, this is my opinion being along time Final Fantasy fan, the game still looks good graphically and what every I may type is not going to stop you or anyone one from buying this game.

After watching that any want or any future want or appeal to this game is dead. That trailer walked up and executed any love that I would have for FF13. It just that it fells like every jrpg( well it looks like every jrpg) that I ever played. It feels like it took chunks of other FF and put them together into this game. What I liked about FF is that every game felt different from the other one. No 2 stories were the same. This just feel like they took a bunch of cliche stuff and cookie cutter character and forced it into a game.

I know it not out yet be based on what I've seen I can safely say that I not interested and would rather have ff vs 13.

You would need to have the entire soundtrack done by brokencyde to stop this game from being my most wanted game of 2010. If FF is involved for me there's not many problems that are too big :P

Gameplay will be 720p 60 fps. 1080p cutscenes on the PS3 version, unsure about the 360 version.

Chyropraise

The only complaint I have is that I don't see myself being able to relate to any of the characters. I've played every FF game from 3 and upward, but my first game being FFX when I was 13. And I lot of the time I was able to relate to Tidus. I just don't see any of that happening with this game. Otherwise it looks amazing and will probably be a lot of fun.
