i am suprised that ppl do buy 360 version...i wouldnt buy ps3 bayonetta...

they shoul have 6 dvds in 360 vesion to make it even, but MS and SE are cheap.

i haven't really loved a Final Fantasy since FFX. should i play this? Is it better than Lost Odyssey?

This reminds me of a post I saw a few weeks ago that argued God of War III would outsell FFXIII. It drove me crazy, because the most a GOW game has ever sold was like 3.5M units, and the FF series regularly hits 8-10M (back in the PS2 days).masterpinky2000

Well, in the UK, it was 53% PS3 and 46% 360. IN America it was 57% PS3 and 43% 360. WW, it was over 60% ps3 mainly due to Japan, and the 360 sold 34%.

All in all, the port did it's job. At those percentage rates, SE should be happy with the outcome... Not to mention, ps3 fans who love FF already have it. The millions of casuals who only have a 360 still have yet to pick it up. I'm not saying it WILL happen, but I have a feeling the 360 and PS3 versio nwill be neck and neck when it's all said and done.

Considering MS doesn't have as much international appeal as Sony does, I would say its likely.

i honestly thought it would sell more on the 360 in the US because microsoft dominates sony here but i guess i was wrong but ill still wait for official numbers im more interested to see how gow3 has done

I don't think it's about loyality anymore. If I was President of Square Enix I'd keep the main series on multiple platforms. Besides, it appears that almost half of the sales in North America and Europe were contributed to the Xbox 360. $$$$$$$$$$

I think he's talking about FF13 sales not the consoles sales. The 360 didn't get FF13 in Japan so you it wouldn't be fair to add that to the precentage because the 360 wouldnt be represented at all.

Yeah Square Enix didnt even release it there, they knew it wont sell :P.. anyways great sales to SE the game is one of the best games i played this year so far
