Not all FF games are bad.

FF12 was amazing, people just didn't like the story. Perhaps because it wasn't melodramatic but I thought it was played out very well and the acting was excellent. Also anyone who took the time to learn the gameplay mechanics would find that it had the most one of the most impressive turn based combat and leveling systems of any turn based RPG.

I took time to learn it, I just thought it was boring. The game was way too long for what it offered because of how repetitive it was. The characters were crap and the world was dull and uninteresting.

People hated FFXII because it felt like an offline MMORPG with too much filler content getting in the way of the actual storyline which wasn't that interesting in the first place because it was lacking in any exciting moments the series in known for and just felt like a total borefest, coupled with the fact that their where very few care worthy characters outside Balthier, Basch and Ashe.. Fran, Penelo and Vaan where utterly pointless characters that ultimately served no purposed in the plot. Boring fetch-quest type hunts where added to replace any form of real sidequests. The world felt bland, like it only had one colour most of the time and felt too barren whilst exploring. Combat was reduced to set up gambits for constant unbeatable auto attack and then go have a ciggy break. Really, some people find it to be fun, but it wasn't what FF fans wanted and they didn't really desire evolution for that matter. Unnecessary butcherary of the franchise, just like FFXIII. Which is why SE are hated so much these days.

FFXIII was a good game, and yes, they are in a damned if they do, damned if they don't situation.

They have been in this situation since FFVII, lot's of people hate VII with passion because they want another FFVI, tons of people think that FFVII is overrated and that VIII was the better game, tons of people think that FFVII is the best JRPG ever, etc, etc, etc, with such a diverse fanbase and so many divided opinions Square will never please everybody, XII and XIII are a perfect example of this, even if they are good games.

FF12 also has a metacritic score over 90. But it has a very low user score, a huge difference between its metacritic andu ser score. i would say the user score is mroe accurate representation.

FF4-10 has a high user score.

FF12 and 13 has a very low one

FFXIII has an 8.3 in MC and 8.1 in user score...nuff said, it was a good game, deal with it, you cannot like it, which is fine since everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I don't like Rap...and maybe is just me, but i don't see how could they fit into a FF game, specially if it is Mainstream Rap it would be so corny...i take that back, it would perfectly fit into a FF game :P

Or it could be Japanese rap from artists like Funky Monkey Babys. Some of it actually sounds pretty good. You never know. :P

Play it myself and form my own opinion. FF is one of those series where opinions vary wildely and me and Japan don't agree on much.

Lasers was rushed. Altantic Records put him under the light and basically told him to release whatever songs he had. So it was kind of half-assed. :/

The concert i went too was a mix between like 5 laser songs, and his other famous ones like kick push,hip hop saved my life, etc.

No redemption was found. Food and Liquor 2 will be the judgement call though. With tracks like Go To Sleep and SLR I know he's still got it but this album needs to bring it.

Anyway, food and Liquor and The Cool are classics, rapping kick push, hip hop just saved my life, go go gadget flow, daydreaming, emperors soundtrack etc in live would be a dream come true. I want to see him so bad, needs to come to Canada.

Radio hits man, that's all they want. I still enjoy rap though, just gotta know what your into and what you want. If you listen to lesser known artists (I don't wanna say underground since I don't want to pretend I am "that" knowledgable there is some good stuff. Even older stuff I enjoy. Lately I've been listening to J. Cole, Childish Gambino, Drake, Immortal Technique, Odd Future, Charles Hamilton, Common, Ill Bill, Chino XL, Dead Prez, KRS-One etc. Wide mix and such. Hopefully Kanye delivers. Watch the Throne was meh.

FF13 is the lowest rated FF game ever based on the metacritic user score and critic score.

FFXIII sold over 6.2 million copies regardless of that. Square-Enix knows a cash cow when they see one.

Why not make an improved spin-off or sequel of a high-selling main FF game.
