As for Mass Effect, I dunno. Fanboyism aside, I've played the game and quite honestly, it deserves an 8.5. The uncharted worlds were uninteresting, mako controls are tough, especially on uneven terrain, the side-missions weren't diverse (kill this guy, save this one, etc), framerate issues, and the menu (when buying stuff) is sucky. Still a great game but not AAA. Of course, I do agree with the score, not the written review.

I'm critical of all systems and decisions in the videogame industry I follow closely. I think what you have seen lately in SW between lemmings and cows is representative of what is pushed by the gaming media.It is obvious that gaming journalism has been painting the PS3 in a pretty good light these last 4 months. It had a much better holiday season than many thought, and is on track to take the 360 sales wise by the end of '09. Developers are starting to see the shift in momentum and it also doesn't help the 360 that one of the secrets to developing a great multiplat game is using the PS3 as lead and porting it to the 360 (many devs. have admitted that this process is significantly easier than vice versa).

It is okay if you don't like Sony and its new found momentum going into the future of this still very young console generation, but please open your eyes to what is going on. There is so much great gaming to be found on any console, not just the 360. Open up, you may even see you enjoy some of those Sony exclusives you think won't do so well this year.

I've always wondered why PS3 fan-boys seem to think that when a game for 360 goes to PC that somehow it benefits the PS3?? Look at the Agency, it's for PS3 but it's going to PC as well. I think we might see alot of games for Playstation and 360 going to PC later on. I mean even if a certain game on 360 goes to PC that still doesn't mean it's not exclusive among the console war.It would still be exclusive to 360 among the 3 consoles.

• You don't have a top end rig so stop pretending like console exlusive games on 360 going to PC somehow benefits your life... Mass Effect, Gears of War, BioShock and yes most likely Halo 3 will all end up on WINDOWS!!! and for not a moment will lemmings have a bad day because of any of it. Their all console exclusive. I'm a PS3 fan and I have a good rig, plus you don't need a high end rig to run those games. Windows and Xbox are in the same company, why would you not think windows was not going to get them.
• The RRoD is grossly overhyped by Sony Fanboys... yes there is a problem, yes it has gotten better, yes there are many many Day 1 consoles that are still working fine... It's exaggerated on here but you're right in admitting it's still a problem. You can sugar coat it all you want, you have 360 die hards with problem to, going on there 5th machine, but will not switch, how is that sony fanboy overhype. Its still a problem, everyone knows.
• Your 08 exclusive lineup is not as good as our 07 lineup and the 360 08 lineup is very good...Granted this is totally a preference and can't be ruled as fact, but hopefully your "Massive Pwnage" threads about lineups will end... It makes me sick to my stomach to read such nonsence... It's all taste, only fanboys actually try for ownage. Who cares about last year, its 2008, thats what really matters.

• The 360 has a few good price drops left in her and she's still selling great. The consumer doesn't seem to impressed with your fancy needless gadgets and your underperformance and over promising hasn't served you well at all... When the US economy tanks 360 will be in trouble and besides who really buys these needless gadgets for any console unless you're talking about the HD DVD add on for 360. And?

The RROD thing is way overused. It was a problem but that was like a year ago. There is little chance that a new 360 off the shelf today will get the RROD. And if it did there is a 3 year warranty available. Do Sony and Nintendo have a 3 year warranty?fanboy999

One of those was dated back to 05', obviously nothing going on about that, the other one is about Halo 3 and the last one is about someone trying to sue MS over his 360 scratching his games durring "Normal use". Good luck to those folks with taking on MS with BS lawsuits like that.
