Loving the Pad implementation so far, i'll definitely be double dipping for FIFA 13 this year (PC version as well for country and club additions as well as other mods).

I'm definitely not gonna call these bullshots, i have Fifa 12 on my PS3 and i don't see many graphical improvements

Indeed, you can only do so little with graphics on sports games.

I can see some nice use of the second screen in this game. Not sure if I'll get it though, but I will consider it.

Yep that is simply amazing the way you can personalize complex strategies using touch interface. Wii U is going to be so fcking awesome, I'm personally more into NHL though.

Oh god that looks terrible... Then again it's probably like that on all platforms.

Problem is people see that as something negative.

Yeah, Wii U is more powerful than PS3, established fact.

That doesn't mean developers are willing to enhance Wii U ports of 360 games, because the minimal improvement in visuals is not a selling point (the average person will perceive the changes as minimal), it would in other words be a waste of resources to improve the graphics, however gamepad features are attractive selling points to people and simultaneously cheap & simple to implement.

Keep in mind that I'm neither praising nor complaining, it's just something that I fully expected.

Now when it comes the time to discuss downports of Xbox 3 games however, that's when I expect them to be enhanced compared to 360 games since Wii U can do more.

For instance Fifa 14/15 will look way better than Fifa 13 on Wii U, because they will be downported versions of 720 games, rather than a straight 360 port visually.

yet the animations in fifa would crap all over most games out there.

Fifa's a much better looking game in motion tbh, screenshots never do it justice.

Well, it's soccer. The first-person view looks interesting and I can see a football manager work well on it but I'm not really into sports games.

Why does that look worse that Fifa 12 on the 360?...

Looks like a Fifa on PC Graphics look to bright and ugly.

- FIFA 13 Wii U uses same 360/PS3 engine
- footage you see is unfinished software on early hardware
- all details discussed during FIFA gameplay have been revealed already
- FIFA a launch title for Wii U

So they finished the controls, but the overall game isn't done yet, so I guess it's polishing time before the release date

Looks good, use of the second screen is good. I'm impressed. I won't get this if i do get a WiiU since i generally don't like football.

Graphics wise it seems kinda flat. Should put more depth on the textures.

Looks the same as 360/ps3 accept with a anti aliasing method.

no dev would waste money on a game just coming out for a new system. they are going to keep the port as cheap as possible

Current gen graphics and the touch pad is a bad gimmick that is completely unnecessary. Yup, that's the Wii U alright.
